Story
Meet Agnes, a little old lady with a heart of gold! Originally hailing from Texas, this petite senior Chihuahua has made quite the journey to find her forever home. Since joining The Rescue Crew in mid-April, Agnes has settled into her foster family, showing off her charming personality and unique preferences.
Agnes wants you to know a couple of important things about her: first, she's spoiled, and she wouldn't have it any other way. Second, she may be tiny at barely 5 pounds, but her spirit is mighty. She enjoys the company of other dogs and often snuggles up with her foster sister, Meri, in a cozy dog bed.
While Agnes is friendly towards humans of all ages, she particularly adores the company of older, more respectful individuals. Though she doesn't mind little toddlers, her petite size and preference for calm environments make her best suited for a home without overly rambunctious youngsters. At 12 years old, Agnes is past her days of wild antics and prefers the peace and quiet that comes with maturity. As she likes to say, "I'm sure you older gals understand."
Agnes is proud to be part of the "Respect Your Elders" adoption program, designed to match seniors with seniors. If you're 65 years or older, you can welcome Agnes into your home for a reduced adoption fee of just $99. But don't worry if you're not quite at that age yet—Agnes is open to being spoiled by anyone who can offer her the love and care she deserves.
If you're ready to open your heart to a senior companion who will fill your days with love, laughter, and maybe a little bit of sass, then Agnes is the one for you. Come meet this tiny treasure and make her dreams of a forever home come true!
