Meet Pollyanna! Are you looking for a super sweet love bug who wants to be with you at all times? Meet Pollyanna! This little lady is one smart cookie; she’s figured out the baby gates the first night here: climbing is her jam. Since I can’t keep her in her space, she’s been sleeping in my bed each evening. Once she closes her eyes she is OUT like a light. Also who needs an alarm when puppy kisses are available? Potty training has been a little spotty, it’s been cold and hard to stay outside for long. She uses the puppy pads though! Ignores my two cats and gets along well with my small 2 senior dogs, but she much prefers to be where you are. She is also learning what toys and play time is, it’s very cool to watch her learn how to Dog. Pollyanna would greatly benefit from basic obedience training and would excel with doggy daycare. She is still learning that all humans are good people and needs help with building her confidence. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.   The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. Tom Petty is a happy, people-loving pup who thrives on connection and play. He does great with kids and other dogs and absolutely loves playing with canine friends of all sizes. Whether it’s a game of fetch with his humans or romping around with another dog, TP is always up for fun. He’s a total “Velcro dog” who wants to be wherever his people are and will happily stick by your side. TP is currently working on potty training and crate training and is making progress with consistency and routine. Tom Petty would do best in a cat-free home, as he finds cats a little too exciting and prefers to bark and chase rather than coexist. With love, structure, and plenty of playtime, TP will make a loyal, affectionate companion for a family ready for an engaged and playful pup.
