Story
Opal Chihuahua Spayed female 9 years old, 8 lbs. Opal is a senior chihuahua that tips the scales at 8.5 lbs and would do best in a quiet home (no small children) where she is the only pet. She might be compatible with another dog or cat as long as Opal is not obligated to be friends. She is approximately 9 years old, has been described as having an “old soul” and is somewhat set in her ways. Opal is up to date on all her shots, has a microchip and is house trained. She considers her crate to be her safe place. She knows a few basic commands and prefers women, but will open up to men who "speak" chihuahua. Opal does like to play, once she feels safe. She occasionally gets the “spinners” when she is excited. She is a bit sensitive around her head and neck, so she needs a fenced yard (privacy preferred) because putting a collar or harness on her can be quite stressful for all involved. Opal is not on any medications nor does she have any conditions requiring special foods. If you love when a big attitude comes in a little package, Opal is worth a look!! Story
If you’ve been waiting for the tea on Phee… here it is: she is equal parts sweet, sassy, and completely irresistible. 💁🏼‍♀️🐶 Phee has officially settled into foster life and she’s showing us exactly who she is—and we’re kind of obsessed. ✨ What we’re learning about Phee: • She’s a talker—and yes, she will absolutely sass you if she’s not getting her way (usually when she wants to play or chase her foster sibling 😅) • Total cuddle bug—she’s either curled up on the couch or snuggled in your lap while you work • Incredibly intuitive—she’ll even wake you up if she needs to go potty (good girl energy 🖤) • Morning zoomies are REAL—she loves a good 15–30 minute fetch session to start the day, then it’s back to nap life • Independent when needed—does great when left alone for short periods, usually just snoozing on the couch • Chew toy queen—give her a bully stick at bedtime and she’ll happily wind down before tucking herself in And let’s talk about her vibe… She’s got that perfect mix of chill and playful, with just enough sass to keep you on your toes. She’s respectful around food (no stealing here 👏), but will happily supervise your meals in case you “accidentally” drop a crumb—and yes, she will volunteer as your personal face cleaner after 😂 🐶 Other animals: We’re still learning! She’s shown interest in chasing (because it’s fun), but doesn’t seem to want any trouble. A confident, non-running cat or the right dog match could be a good fit with proper introductions. 🖤 The bottom line: Phee is loving, funny, a little dramatic (in the best way), and settling in beautifully. She’s the kind of dog that becomes your shadow… your snuggle buddy… and your daily source of entertainment.

Story
Boone Chihuahua-Pug mix Neutered male 9 years old, 12 pounds Boone is a charming 9-year-old Chihuahua & Pug mix and he is ready to find his forever lap. Weighing in at 12 lbs, Boone is a low-energy companion that has his playful moments, but is happiest when he’s hanging out with his humans or enjoying some quiet time. His anti-seizure medication is affordable and working well. Boone is a smart boy who already knows commands like "Sit" and "Come" (though he likes to operate on his own timeline!). He is house-trained, does well being left alone for a few hours, and is a perfect gentleman with children. While he is friendly with small dogs through a fence, he can be a bit reactive to other dogs while on a leash, so he’d prefer a calm environment where he can feel secure. He is a "car ride enthusiast" and is looking for a co-pilot to join on life's smaller adventures.
