Story
I recently adopted Luis, and within the short time he has been in my home I’ve noticed that he has a significant fear of children. He becomes very anxious around them, although he is otherwise an excellent dog. In addition, it appears that my child may be having an allergic reaction to him. Aside from his fear of children, Luis has been wonderful, he sleeps through the night, is crate-trained, walks well on a leash, and has shown no signs of aggression. He just seems to be insecure around children.

***AVAILABLE ON-SITE ONLY FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS*** Chi lovers, look no further than our cute new guy, Kylo. He is an adult chi mix full of wonder and ready to get moving onto his forever home. Since arriving at Saving Grace, Kylo has been a bit shy while getting to know new people, but he is trying hard to adjust and continues to make steady progress. He did very well with other dogs of various sizes and genders, though he would likely prefer a quieter home, either as a solo dog or with calm companions of similar size and energy. Once out of his crate, Kylo picked up on daily routines quickly and does an excellent job with his crate—he goes in when asked, often beats everyone there at mealtime, and sleeps silently through the night. He doesn’t mind being carried, sits nicely in your lap, and enjoys gentle attention. Kylo will use pee pads indoors but prefers to go outside, especially when following along with larger dogs. He tends to bond closely with his primary person and may be happiest in a calm, predictable home, as busy environments and lots of comings and goings can feel overwhelming for him. This sweet little guy will have your heart melting in no time—get your application in and we’ll see you at the farm.

*** AVAILABLE ON-SITE ONLY FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS *** Start the new year off with a new best furry friend - check out this little nugget with his beautiful amber eyes! Far from being a daredevil, Knieval’s eyes are very expressive, drawing you in and getting you to give him just about anything he wants. He’s a bit timid at first and will need someone to give him the time he needs to feel safe and comfortable. Once he does, he’ll be sure to stick close to you as your new sidekick. Performing his very best trick, Knieval sits up in his cute prairie dog stance while waiting patiently for you to notice him and rub his head or sweep him up in your arms for a cuddle. He’s improving on his leash manners and seems to be housetrained when kept on a routine. Although he will sleep in his crate overnight, he’d much prefer to sleep on his doggy bed in the human bedroom – this boy likes to stick close so he can feel extra safe and loved. If he’s made off with your heart, make an appointment to meet Knieval today!

Miko is a sweet boy. He gets along well with cats and dogs! He is HW + and will be undergoing treatment. He was adopted and returned after four years so is a little sad, but he loves to cuddle and hang out with his foster humans and dog friends.
