Meet Taquito ❤️ Tiny, Sweet, and Ready to Be Someone’s Little Best Friend Breed: Chinese Crested Hairless  Mix Gender: Male | Age: 2 Years | Weight/Size: 7 lbs (Small) Good With: Dogs: Yes | Cats: Unknown | Kids: Yes Personality: ❤️ Sweet | Affectionate | Loving | Friendly Medical: ✔️ Neutered | ✔️ Vaccinations Up to Date Location: Los Angeles, California Transportation: Ozzie and Friends Rescue coordinates safe transportation for approved adopters throughout the United States. ❤️ Personality & Breed Information Taquito is an adorable two-year-old  weighing only about 7 pounds. He's a tiny little guy with a sweet personality who is ready to find a family to call his own. Taquito may be small, but little dogs can bring an incredible amount of companionship into a home. He's at a wonderful age—past the earliest puppy stage but still a young adult with many years ahead of him. Taquito is known for being intelligent, alert, affectionate, and deeply devoted to their people. Because Taquito is such a small dog, his family should always be mindful of his size. He should be handled gently and protected from situations where he could accidentally be injured by rough play, large dogs, or unsafe jumps. Taquito would thrive with a family that provides: Plenty of love and companionship Daily walks appropriate for his size Playtime and interactive toys Positive-reinforcement training Mental stimulation and enrichment Consistent household routines A warm, comfortable place to rest Safe handling appropriate for a very small dog A secure indoor home where he's part of the family A lifelong commitment Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Although Taquito is already two years old, every rescue dog needs time to adjust to a new environment. His adopter should be prepared to continue reinforcing house training, leash manners, basic commands, and household routines as needed. Small dogs benefit from the same consistent training and boundaries as larger dogs. Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 Days to decompress and begin feeling safe 3 Weeks to understand his new household routine 3 Months to fully settle in, build trust, and feel at home Patience and positive reinforcement will help Taquito understand his new environment and develop a strong bond with his family. At only seven pounds, safety is especially important. Taquito should be securely leashed or contained when outside, and his family should make sure doors, gates, fences, and other potential escape areas are secure. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Taquito is already neutered and up to date on his vaccinations, giving him a great start toward a healthy future. His adopter should continue providing: Routine veterinary wellness examinations Recommended vaccination boosters Flea, tick, heartworm, and parasite prevention Routine dental examinations and dental care Quality nutrition appropriate for his size Healthy weight management Regular age-appropriate exercise Mental stimulation and enrichment Continued positive-reinforcement training Veterinary treatment whenever illness or injury occurs A safe and comfortable indoor home Dental care can be particularly important for small breeds such as Chihuahuas, so regular dental monitoring and good at-home care should be part of Taquito's lifelong routine. Adoption Information If you are interested in adopting Taquito, please complete an adoption application at: https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions Thank you for considering adoption through Ozzie and Friends Rescue, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit dedicated to helping deserving dogs find safe, loving, permanent homes. Although we are based in Los Angeles, California, we coordinate safe transportation for approved adopters throughout the United States. Taquito is just seven pounds of sweetness waiting for a family of his own. This little guy doesn't need much space—but he does need a whole lot of love, a safe place to call home, and someone committed to being his person for life. ❤️October 5, 2026, 10:44 am

Story
Peach is an 8 year old, 9 pound mannerly lady Chihuahua mix. She is a loving lap girl and will fill your heart with joy. She is fostered in Tigard, OR. She is house trained on a good schedule, crate trained, and is a good little walker. We are seeking a home with fenced yard for Peach. She needs a great potty routine. She is crate trained for nighttime and enjoys her open-doored crate for resting. Peach has a spunky, sweet and loving personality. She is excited to start a new day when greeted and will bark, but is not otherwise a barker. She is spayed, vaccinated, micro-chipped, had a dental one year ago, is heartworm negative, and has lab work. She comes with her own belongings: harness, crate, leash, stuffy, bed. Peach gets along with other dogs, but would also love being the only apple of your eye. A great home and must haves for this sweet little lady include: 1. A home with fenced yard where she can potty under cover in the rain and where she is not alone long hours. 2. An adopter/family who will make sure that she gets great nutrition and vet care as she ages and will keep her trim. 3. Love. That is what Peach likes! If you meet the above criteria and think that Peach would make a great companion, please inquire or apply: 1. To inquire please email awoofovermyhead@gmail.com with 'Peach' in the subject line. Tell us a bit about yourself and how Peach will fit into your life. Leave us a phone number and we will reach out promptly.
