Peach is an 8 year old, 9 pound mannerly lady Chihuahua mix. She is a loving lap girl and will fill your heart with joy. She is fostered in Tigard, OR. She is house trained on a good schedule, crate trained, and is a good little walker. We are seeking a home with fenced yard for Peach. She needs a great potty routine. She is crate trained for nighttime and enjoys her open-doored crate for resting. Peach has a spunky, sweet and loving personality. She is excited to start a new day when greeted and will bark, but is not otherwise a barker. She is spayed, vaccinated, micro-chipped, had a dental one year ago, is heartworm negative, and has lab work. She comes with her own belongings: harness, crate, leash, stuffy, bed. Asphalt is available through Project POOCH—learn more at pooch.org/asphalt Asphalt is an adventurous little guy! Don't be the one to try to tell him that little dogs don't do big dog things. He is always eager to join the guys on the walks, is a blast to train, and believes in balancing his work with equal enthusiasm for play. At only 6 lbs, Asphalt rewrites expectations that small dogs are only purse dogs. He joins in on the walks and is a good partner to strut with. The youth are perfecting his leash manners, and he continues to learn more each day. He is, however, still very much ok with being catered to when the time is right. (He even trained some of the youth to wear the sling during chore time so he could stick right by them.) Due to his small stature, Asphalt is looking for an adopter who will respect his autonomy and get consent before attempting to pick him up or leash him. He needs someone who will give him time to warm up and get comfortable in his new environment. If you are willing to do that, he will be your best friend! If you're looking for a pint-sized dog to show up big dogs in the trick department, Asphalt could be a great fit for you. He is incredibly treat-motivated and learns quickly. He's been working on adding to his trick list while at POOCH and would love to show them off to you! Cody is a sweet darling boy who just joined OFOSA through no fault of his own. He is about 4 years old, and 15 lbs. Walks well on a leash; very responsive to his name. He`s a little bit of a `choosy` eater. Much prefers wet food of any sort to kibble. He`s quite friendly to other dogs, (tends to shrink from pushy dogs and stand behind the human), mostly ignores cats, and is allegedly good with kids. He prefers sleeping on foster moms bed. Loves to sit on your lap and watch TV. His one `challenge` is that he has quite a loud sharp bark. Luckily he doesn`t use it much. Cody should fit well into anyone`s household. Maybe yours? Meet Trixie Cinnamon Toy Story! Meet Trixie Cinnamon Toy Story, a tiny puppy currently estimated to be about 5 months old. We believe this little one may be a Chihuahua/Lab mix, but as with many rescue puppies, her exact breed blend is a mystery. What we do know is that she is absolutely adorable and deserving of a loving home. Watch Trixie in action! With her warm cinnamon-colored coat, sweet dark muzzle, tiny puppy paws, and soulful eyes, Trixie looks like a little caramel latte with legs. Shelly Loo has the confidence of a dog three times her size and absolutely none of the hesitation. She marches into new situations like she's been invited, assumes everyone is delighted to see her, and immediately starts looking for something fun to do. Usually that something involves toys. Estimated to be around 4 years old, weighing 20 pounds, and looking very much like a Chihuahua mix, but of course- Shelly Loo is a rescue, so breed and age are simply our best guess.
