HI - I'M PRIYA! I'm a 5-year-old, 5-pound little girl in need of a forever home! I was rescued from the streets and now am in a wonderful foster home. I get along great with other dogs and I love people, too. I'm an active little girl so would do well with someone who likes to go for walks or outings. I'm spayed & up-to-date on my vaccines, and I had a dental! Please email for an application.

Story
We welcome you to meet Howard the troll! He is an elusive creature, rarely seen unless you try to cross his bridge, or sit at the dining room table that he's living under. Much like a real troll Howard can be somewhat hostile towards humans. Howard would much prefer to be out in wilderness, he honestly could have been a feral cat living in a colony somewhere wild and free. Howard loves other dogs and is great with cats but, unless you are some kind of super human who really works for his love he's likely to avoid you. He’s also much like a teenager who doesn’t want anything to do with you, unless of course he wants something. Howard didn’t have the best start to life, he lived his first few years in a hoarding situation. That is why he feels most comfortable with other animals and thinks humans are jerks. I mean really, can you blame him? With the right super person the best of Howard will come out. Howard needs a home that understands that he may never fully come around, that he won't be their lap dog or snuggle buddy. He would love to just live in a corner of you house, spend time in your yard, play with your dogs and eat your food. If you are looking for an awkward roommate who you only see every now and again, Howard is the weird dude you're looking for!

Story
Are you looking for some joy in your life? Sweet silly pumpkin is full of good cheer. Pumpkin had a rough start in life and is ready to put all that behind her. She may be timid at first, but she can’t hide her bubbly nature too long. Pumpkin enjoys playing with toys and her favorite toys right now are a dog scarf and a plastic bottle. Pumpkin initiates play with one of her foster sisters. Pumpkin is crate trained. She uses pee pads and is working on potty outside in the yard. Miss pumpkin loves being outdoors in the yard as much as she can. pumpkin does not like being left alone. She craves human or canine companionship. pumpkin will need continued training to be the best girl that she can be. Pumpkin does not like to be picked up, but she does like to be pet and will jump on you. Give you little kisses asking to be pet. This has to be on her terms. Pumpkin pie would prefer a quiet, slow paced household.

Please be patient, we try and get back to you as quickly as possible, answering the questions below, help us greatly. ***Available for Pre-Adoption, puppies must be fully weaned and Becky needs to be spayed 1st*** Hi there, I'm Becky, I am approximately 18mths-2yrs old, female (soon to be spayed), Chihuahua. My husband Dennis and I were found with our collars and leashed on running around town, the shelter team, was very sure someone would be coming for us, but no one did. My husband and I were hiding a secret from the shelter team, after a few days we couldn't hide our secret, I was pregnant!!! The shelter team wanted to keep us together but it would be months before I would be ready, so they separated us and Dennis was adopted. I delivered 3 healthy baby boys and have been taking amazing care of them. My sweet little boys are ready to stat their new lives here in a couple weeks and so am I. The shelter team wants you to know, that I love all dogs, I love playing with kittens, I am gentle when taking treats, I do bark at strangers, I love to run around the office as fast as I can, making the shelter team laugh. I would love all kinds of toys, they have a toy bin here and I would like one in my home. I would like an active home, I would make a great hiking partner, maybe even a dog buddy. The entire team here has fallen head over heels for me and they fully expect you to do the same. Becky would prefer a home with a dog buddy, she loves other dogs and wants one to run around and play with. My adoption fee is $375, includes spay, microchip, vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment and 1pound bag of food. 1. Do you have a privately fenced yard? 2. How many humans and ages live in your home? 3. How many animals and types? 4. Do you have time for daily walks? 5. Are you active, hiking etc? 6. Do you have the time for basic training? 7. Do you have the time to give her hugs and kisses? 8. Have you ever owned a Chihuahua before, if so please tell us about them. 9. What would a typical Becky day be like?

Story
Lucky (1 year old, 18-20 lbs) seems to love everyone he meets. He has that young dog energy and is very playful with other dogs. So far he has gotten along with both big and small dogs. He will happily chase or be chased all around the yard! Because he's so young and loves to play, he's still working on listening  to cues when other dogs might be done playing.  Lucky currently lives with two dogs and a cat. He has shown a little interest in the cat, but the interest is waning as the cat has let him know she doesn't want a new friend. He may still go up to her, but with a bit of redirection from cat or human he will go tend to other matters. In fact, as I write this they are on opposite ends of the couch ignoring each other.  He is very affectionate with humans. He loves to cuddle, get belly rubs, and he will sleep with you at night if you let him. Soooo sweet and cuddly.  Lucky enjoys his walks and has done well on leash. Not too much pulling and he has not been leash reactive when he sees other dogs. He loves to make quick stops and investigate spots of interest with a sniff or two. He is potty trained and has not been destructive at all.   I don't recommend any small kids in the household as he occasionally will nip for attention or gnaw/get mouthy while playing.  Apply for Lucky here: https://form.jotform.com/60136667457159 ##2124310##
