Max is currently in RI and looking for a 'furever' home!    Max is a 3 year old Chinese Crested weighing in at just 10 lbs and he is packed with personality and love. This friendly little guy adores people and is happiest when he is close to his humans soaking up attention and giving it right back. He also does well with other dogs, he prefers chill laid back doggie friends. Max has a grade IV heart murmur so he will need an adopter who can provide ongoing veterinary care and keep a close eye on his health. As a Chinese Crested Max comes with a few special but totally manageable needs. This breed is known for being affectionate playful and deeply bonded to their people. They are often described as velcro dogs who love to stick by your side. Because of their unique coat or lack of it skin care is important. Max will need regular baths with gentle products moisturizing to keep his skin healthy and protection from the elements. That means sunscreen or lightweight clothing in the sun and cozy sweaters when it is chilly. He likes to chill with his people, sit on the back of the couch like a cat in the window, or be outside and explore! Buddy loves to be with you, whether outside on a walk or going for a ride! Buddy loves car rides, though he thinks he’s the driver! He’s about 10lbs, great on the leash and tolerates wearing clothing - but is just as happy to be nakey and roll around on the couch! Buddy came to us as a very picky eater but he finally has discovered that dog food isn’t so bad after all! Though human food is a quick way to his heart, Buddy loves “pizza” and “ice cream” and knows exactly what you’re talking about when you say those words!
