Story
Meet Tugg! Tugg is a 6-year-old PomChi weighing approximately 19 pounds who is looking for a loving forever home. This handsome little guy was owner surrendered through no fault of his own after his previous owner was no longer physically able to care for him. Tugg is housebroken and does well with other dogs, but he is looking for a calm, patient home where he can have the time and space to adjust at his own pace. He is not suggested for a home with children, as he would do best in a quieter household with adopters who understand that trust and comfort can take time to build. Once he settles in, Tugg has all the potential to become a loyal and loving companion. Tugg has had a negative experience at the groomer in the past while having his nails trimmed, so his future family will need to approach grooming with patience, understanding, and a gentle touch to help him feel safe and secure. Tugg is ready to start his next chapter with patient adopters willing to give him the stability, understanding, and gentle guidance he deserves. Tugg's adoption fee is $125 and includes his neuter, microchip, rabies vaccination, basic boosters to date, and heartworm test. Meet and greets, as well as adoption, require an approved online adoption application. Interested adopters can apply here: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense. May 29, 2026, 7:06 pm
