Story
He is a purebred Chinese Crested hairless dog at 17 lbs (as a Chinese Crested, he has specific bathing/grooming needs). He has lived with us for 7 months, one child has become very allergic and has asthma. Laslo just turned 5; he is very healthy. He has been kept up to date on all vaccines and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. He eats both wet and dry food fine, even though he has mostly baby teeth. The vet said teeth are healthy, he just doesn't have many adult teeth. Laslo is fairly low energy, but loves to go on walks, cuddle and snooze. He is good on a leash but he is a bit of a diva and dislikes the rain or snow. He's scared of cats, so will keep a respectful distance if they live in the house. His original owner hand fed him as a puppy and treated him as a human baby. He became extremely attached to his original owner & started resource guarding her 2 yr old resulting in a few bites. He has not tried to bite anyone in our home. He may thrive as the only dog in his new home.

To learn more about Toby, please get in touch with dogs@lostdogrescue.org Toby, a distinguished older gentleman, is looking for a loving companion to spend his golden years with! Toby is a friendly little guy, and wants to be near his people all the time. As an older fellow, he enjoys a lot of nap time, but out on his frequent walks, he is sprightly and spry. Toby loves people, and is also delighted with most dogs. He loves car rides, and treats (especially if his human friends want to share what they are having!). He knows to do his business outside, and is fine left on his own at home for a bit. As a pint-sized chihuahua mix, his mobility is good for his age- he can even still make the jump into his people’s bed, and keeps up a good pace on his walks. If you are looking for a relaxed, friendly, travel-sized companion, sweet Toby wants to me you!
