Sadly, Dan and his family were left behind when their owners moved away. A kind family member brought them to the rescue, giving Dan a second chance at happiness. Because of his past, he may be shy at first, but with a little patience (and a few tasty treats!), he’ll soon reveal his loving and loyal nature. Dan thrives in a calm environment and would do best with a quiet family who can give him the time he needs to build trust. He absolutely adores other dogs and would love a confident canine companion to help show him the ropes and make him feel secure. Jerry is an 8 year old male Chihuahua that weighs 11 lbs. He enjoys other dogs and playing outdoors. Jerry has that typical Chihuahua charm that makes him instinctively protective of his yard and family. He is pad trained. His rabies is good till 7/7/2027, but needs all other vetting and neutered done. Jerry does not like to be bothered while eating. Unsure about cats and other dogs, leash trained and he sleeps on his own bed and likes to sleeps with a blanket on top of him. Jerry does not need to be crated when you leave the house. Hi, my name is Gomez . I’m a 6 month old , 9 lb chihuahua mix with shiny, silky brown fur and really cool greenish eyes. I am full of energy and very inquisitive, sometimes too inquisitive. I have found every small opening in my foster home’s fence line. It’s not that I’m trying to escape, I just want to see what’s on the other side . I love playing with stuffed toys and and getting pretty good at fetching. I also love romping around in snow. I get along great with my foster siblings and have met a cat that I couldn’t care less about. I even like little kids. I am up to date on all my shots, am microchipped and am scheduled for my neuter next week. I am still working on potty training but am getting better. I also don’t mind being crated if my foster Mom needs to run out. I sleep on a dog bed or my foster Mom’s bed if there is room.
