Story
Meeko - your soon to be best friend Age 3-4 years old and 80lbs of sweetness and Loyalty DOG, KID AND HORSE FRIENDLY! FOSTER CONFIRMED AN ABSOULTE SWEET GENTLE GIANT Meeko lived on a horse farm with about 10 other dogs of all sizes for a year before being rescued and brought up to Colorado where he now is living in a foster home He is great with other dogs of all sizes, great around horses, and good around kids that are respectful of his space as he can be a little timid and shy. We have not cat tested him yet but will be living in a foster home soon with one so will have updates **house trained **Very treat motivated and fast learner **Walks well on leash, doesnt pull at all **probably make for a good off leash dog canidate he loves to be by his human and pack and never goes too far away **Sweet and gentle, loves to give kisses **Medium lower energy - loves to play and run around and hike but also loves to rest and lay around **Easy to handle - vet apporved and was able to groom him but doesnt love it and doesnt love people coming up to pet him without him notices, it scares him. This boy is the gentlest Akita I have ever met. While he is scared he wouldnt hurt a fly. Just wants someone to love him He will come with 2 free one on one dog training sessions and is netuered and up to date on shots He has has full bloodwork panel, fecal, shots, he is a healthy boy only medical note is he is Heartworm positive which is common for dogs to get when living outside in Texas. A heartworm-positive dog has a parasitic infection caused by the worm Dirofilaria immitis, which is transmitted through mosquito bites and is not contagious to other dogs. We are paying for full treatment - he has started on Doxy and will continue treatment at our vet in Golden under our account. More details to come please submit an adoption application if interested in meeting him!

Story
At first glance, Buttercup is a soft-spoken little lady. She’s thoughtful, gentle, and shy when meeting new people. Inside the home, she’s all grace and charm - quietly asking for snuggles, finding the coziest spot to rest her paws and head, and happily entertaining herself with a toy nearby. She has a sweet, demure way about her that melts hearts. But don’t let that fool you. The moment Buttercup steps outside, she transforms. Suddenly, she’s flying into baby pools, zooming around the yard with her friends, and sprinting through garden beds (look, we informed her multiple times that this is frowned upon but she says it’s too much fun). Watching her run is enough to make you wonder whether she’s secretly an Olympic athlete disguised as a puppy. She absolutely comes alive outdoors and brings a joyful, contagious, endearingly chaotic energy. Buttercup adores children and thrives around other dogs. In fact, we’d love to see her join a home with a confident canine companion who can continue helping her build confidence and show her the ropes. She also likes cats a little too much - she views them as potential playmates and would need continued training and redirection to learn that not every cat wants to participate in an endless game of tag. As she continues to gain confidence, Buttercup’s personality shines brighter every day. She’s looking for a family committed to providing the structure, training, and guidance she needs to keep growing into the incredible dog she’s meant to be. A playful dog friend and children would be a dream come true for her, but the most important thing is a family ready to give her plenty of enrichment and love. Buttercup may start out shy, but once she feels safe, you’ll discover a joyful, adventurous, affectionate puppy who’s ready to make every day a little more fun.

Meet Mila Female DOB: November 15, 2023 Weight: 50 pounds Breed: Husky Mix Spayed (Fixed) Vaccinated Microchipped Healthy & Adoption-Ready Mila is a happy, loving girl with a heart full of joy—and she’s been waiting far too long for a home of her own. While other dogs have come and gone, Mila has stayed hopeful, greeting each day with the same friendly spirit and loving nature. She doesn’t understand why she’s still waiting—but she never stops being the sweet, happy dog she’s always been. Personality Mila is friendly, affectionate, and full of life. She loves being around people and has a warm, joyful energy that makes her easy to love. She enjoys attention, interaction, and being part of the moment. She has that beautiful balance of playful and loving—happy to be active, but just as happy being close to her people. Breed Info As a Husky mix, Mila carries traits of: Intelligence and awareness A social, engaging personality A love for activity and companionship Husky mixes are known for being friendly, expressive, and full of personality, thriving in homes where they can stay active and connected. Ideal Home Mila would do best in a home where she is included as part of the family and given the love she has been waiting for. She will thrive with someone who enjoys an interactive, affectionate dog. Owner Responsibilities Mila will need regular exercise, routine, and continued engagement. Like all dogs, she requires proper care, structure, and a lifelong commitment. Things to Consider Mila has been waiting longer than most. Please consider giving a chance to a dog who has so much love left to give. Sometimes the ones who wait the longest are the ones who love the hardest. The 3-3-3 Rule 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to fully feel at home With patience and love, Mila will finally get the life she deserves. Veterinary Care Mila is fully vetted, but we always recommend bringing her to your own veterinarian after adoption to continue her care. Important Note Mila is an indoor family dog. She is not to be chained or left outside.
