Story
Arizona is a four year old Akita that was transferred from a local municipal shelter after surprising everyone when she went into labor. She's a big girl, but a gentle giant. At the shelter, she passed all of her temperament and behavioral testing, and was even used to help temperament test other dogs. Like most new moms, Arizona was very protective of her babies when they were small, and now that they are weaned and growing up, she's relaxing and feeling more like herself. She had surgery to fix entropion on her left eye, and is ready to find a forever where she will be treasured. Arizona is housebroken, crate trained, and loves being outside. She is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, wormed, and microchipped with registration. Arizona's adoption fee is $350.

Story
Flagstaff is a two month old mixed breed puppy. His mom is an Akita, but Flagstaff and his littermates take after their mystery dad and look like fluffy teddy bears. He will be a large adult dog, already weighing in at well over 20 pounds with giant paws to grow into. Flagstaff is very eager to please and working on all the normal puppy things: socialization, housetraining, and obedience. As a large breed, it will be especially important for him to continue with training and exposure to our fun world. Flagstaff is neutered, vaccinated for age, wormed, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped with registration. He is $450 to adopt.

Story
Indigo is a loving, curious, fun, 7.5 year old Akita. Through no fault of his own we need to find a new home for him because we are moving. He is a great watchdog, yet gentle with people and loves kids. He is beautiful and in good physical shape. He is very smart, loyal and stubborn, which is typical of the breed. This is a great dog and we hate to part with him. He typically does not get along with other dogs but once introduced he will get along fine. It would take an introduction period. He is a purebred and cost $1,800 when we got him. He is free to a good home.

Story
Ripley is a super sweet girl that gets along with other dogs inside and outside. She is a one of a kind dog where she had a rough start, ended up at a kill shelter on the euth list with missing fur and skin and bones and now look at her glow. Through all that she is super friendly and loves everyone She loves to go for runs, hikes and more. She is a young girl at only 1 years old and on the smaller side at 40 pounds. **Walks well on leash **Crate and house trained **Loves other dogs and coexists with cats just fine **loves to play fetch and go for hikes **carries her toys around and is great wearing cute fish costumes ;) Cats: She’s doing really well! She’s so intrigued by them she just sits by the stairs and watches them through the baby gate. They’ve even booped noses and no aggressive reaction. The cat hisses at her and Ripley actually turned around and walked away. However, she does have strong prey drive so I imagine if they run she’s going to chase them. Future home (if they have cats) should definitely make sure their cat can jump higher onto something with Ripley in the house. Comes with 2 free dog training sessions and full vetting

Story
Meet Mamma Cass! - She is a sweet girl that is dog friendly but does prefer to not share so would love a home without other dogs so she can keep all the toys to herself or in a home where the other dog doesn't care as much and someone who will utilize a crate. She does great on pack walks and out and about with other dogs so its only in the home. - She is an active girl that likes to go for runs and hikes and does great with bike rides! When you are just hanging around the house, she loves to lounge around and nap. -She is food motivated and loves to learn new things! Doing well with her loose leash walking, place work and working on recall -She is great for handling; nail trims, looking in her mouth, body handling, she is sweet and patient for all of it. -She had puppies (one of her puppies also came into our rescue and was adopted) They were found on the side of the road in Texas - She is a medium sized Husky that will need a medium level active home and guessed to be 2 years old Check out her foster mom’s instagram to see more videos on her. Shes a dog trainer and Cass is doing great with her @wilmadean_edenween All POSO dogs come fully vetted and with 2 free dog training sessions
