Meet Huffington — a sweet 3.5-month-old puppy who we believe may be an Akita mix. This gentle boy has a quiet, thoughtful personality and absolutely melts for belly rubs. Huffington is a shy pup who takes a little time to warm up to new people, but once he feels safe, his sweet nature shines through. He’s a very calm and chill puppy, listens well, and is already learning his basic commands. Huffington is also crate trained, and his crate has become his special safe place where he feels comfortable and secure. Huffington enjoys exploring the yard, playing, and digging, and he’s curious about the world around him. He does like being around other dogs, but we think he may truly thrive as the only pet in a home where he can soak up all the love and attention. Because he’s a sensitive and cautious boy, Huffington will need a patient, understanding adopter who will give him the time he needs to build trust and confidence. With a little patience and a lot of love, this sweet pup will become an incredibly loyal companion.
