Story
Born August 2025, currently weighing 15lbs, we expect Nano to be a medium sized dog with a stocky body and shorter legs. Nano and his siblings had a very hard start in life. They were born on a rural property largely uncared for until a worried neighbour went to check on them to bring them food. She found that they suffered from significant wounds on their back from the fencing which was badly infected. The neighbour took all the dogs home to care for them and had them spayed / neutered. They are now under the care of the SPCA PV jointly with the foster, and have received all of their vaccines as they prepare for happier lives. He will have some permanent scarring on his back and had a small pellet bullet removed from the surface of his body. Nano is looking for a quiet home to slowly expose him to a kinder gentler world. If you think you might be a fit for this young boy as a forever refuge, or a foster spot along the way, reach out to us at pvcaadoptions@gmail.com.
