Current Location: Korea 🇰🇷 ♡ 🐾 Hershey – The Short-Legged Sweetheart 🐾 💗 Personality Loves human touch and attention, very affectionate even with strangers. No biting. Curious and loves other dogs (would do great as a second dog). High energy level (5/5) due to his young age. Shares food and treats with other dogs without fighting (especially loves treats). 📜 Rescue Story Found wandering dangerously along a roadside with a metal chain still attached to him and was rescued to safety. 🐶 Social Skills With Adults: Friendly to everyone regardless of age or gender; loves being petted. With Kids: (Not yet tested – can be assessed if needed) With Dogs: Very social; approaches first to give playful signals. With Cats: No aggression; friendly and shows positive interest. 🏡 Living Habits Potty Training: Likely lived chained outdoors before, but does not show excessive marking. Prefers to go near or on pee pads; may mark over spots where other dogs have marked. Toys: Not particularly toy-focused, but enjoys small plush toys and playing with items like towels or light T-shirt material. Separation/Barking: May whine or bark a little when left in a separate space, but calms down quickly. Walks: Slight leash pulling but walks well overall. Handling: Enjoys being touched even by strangers. Escape Risk: Afraid to step outside the door, but caution is still advised. Goes up stairs well but is careful going down. Car Rides: Has little experience, so needs to be lifted into the car, but gets out easily. In a travel kennel, may scratch to get out at first but settles quickly. 🌟 Adoption Notes Hershey is an active, social, and happy boy. He would thrive in a home with another friendly dog or with a family who can give him plenty of walks and activities. With his affectionate nature toward both people and animals, he will quickly bond with his forever family.

💙 Name: Harry 💙 Sex: Male 💙 Age: Estimated 4 years old (Born in May 2021) 💙 Weight: 8.7 kg / 19.18 lb 💙 Adogs Center Account: @_adogs_ 1⃣ Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped, and will be retested for bladder stones in January 2026. * Is allergic to chicken (causes itching on the back of ears.) * Received surgery to remove bladder stones. The stones were made up of calcium oxalate, which have a high chance of recurrence. Therefore, consistent care and management is required. * His ear infection is almost cleared up and only requires one type of ear drops now. There’s still some bacteria on his skin but it’s not severe. He’s getting medicated baths once or twice a week. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Harry entered the city shelter with his mother #AdogsGahui. They were both adopted through Adogs in 2021 after overcoming a difficult past. Unfortunately, four years later, they have been returned and are now looking for a new family again. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Gets scared when strangers reach out their hands. However, if you give him time, he will come up to sniff you and enjoys sticking close to people. Even shows cute affection to those who he’s opened his heart to. Used to live well with a human baby and showed good manners around children. * With Dogs: It takes time to get close to new friends. Won’t play with other dogs if he doesn’t feel comfortable with them even after watching them for a long time. * With Cats: Tends to bark when he sees them from a distance. * Separation Anxiety: Has rarely been left completely alone, as he is used to staying with a doggy roommate. Tends to rely on other dogs. Doesn’t have any separation anxiety and actually stays calm if other dogs cause trouble without people around. * Potty Training: Fully house-trained for both indoor and outdoor potty. * Walks: Does very well on leash and is patient, waiting for the other dog when out for walks together. May pull slightly when he needs to potty urgently. Loves running. * Hygiene: Accepts baths well on an anti-slip mat. Tends to bite his own toenails, so his nail length should be carefully managed. Is good at getting his nails trimmed while being held. * Car Sickness: No car sickness. Very calm and well-behaved in the car. * Doesn’t show any behavior of biting. Runs away if anything makes him uncomfortable. * Barking: Tends to be wary and bark when he sees strangers or animals. * Likes soft and fluffy surfaces! Loves food and even eyes on other dogs' meals at times. * Is scared of walking on slippery surfaces like tiles or marble. Is afraid of unfamiliar environments but tends to adapt quickly.

Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped, and heartworm negative. * Recently received treatment for pancreatitis. Should avoid being fed fatty foods. 2.) Rescue Story * Rumi had stayed at the Gimje City Shelter for over two years after giving birth to puppies, living in a cramped space. She was placed on the euthanasia list, so Adogs quickly rescued her. 3.) Basic Information * With People: Is scared and fearful of people. Still tends to get scared even with familiar people, but she wags her tail and gets excited when she sees the person who takes her for walks. * With Dogs: Gets along with other dogs at our center with no issues. * Separation Anxiety: Unclear since she’s living communally at our center. * Potty Training: Not confirmed as she resides communally at our center. Is currently going potty outdoors at our center.. * Walks: Loves going for walks and handles it maturely without pulling on the leash. Is a little cautious at first, but does well after a few steps. * Car Sickness: Had no problems and rested during short car rides. * Sometimes growls but accepts pets calmly. Growls out of fear of humans but never bites. * Is still afraid of people and growls out of fear when making eye contact with them. * Likes going for walks.
