✨ NORTH’S STORY ✨Golden heart + wild soul + big puppy energy = me 🐾Hi, I’m North. I’m about a year old, maybe just a little under, and I’m still very much a puppy in the best possible way.I’m a total social butterfly. Sweet, curious bundle of joy. I check in with my human like, “Is this right? Am I doing good?” And when you tell me yes, I light up… and then I’m off exploring the world again.I’m working on putting on some healthy weight and filling out into the handsome husky I’m meant to be. Some people joke I might be part coyote. I’m not… but I do have that wild, soulful, striking look that makes people stop and stare. Here’s what you should know about me:✔ I’m very sweet and people oriented✔ I’m great with other dogs who are okay with an enthusiastic young pup✔ I take corrections beautifully✔ I have a heart of absolute gold✔ I’m eager to learn and to pleaseI do need basic training and structure, and we’re actively working on that. What I really need is a person who will keep guiding me with consistency, kindness, and clear boundaries. I’m looking for leadership and connection. When I find my person, I will bond deeply.I’m playful, affectionate, and full of potential. I’m neutered, healthy, and up to date on my vaccines. With the right home, I’m going to grow into an incredible, loyal companion. If you have room in your life for a young husky who’s ready to learn, love, and adventure by your side, I’m waiting. Please share me, foster me, adopt me, or reach out to learn more. My future is bright. I just need my person to find me. 🐾💛

Story
Meet Crumbles Breed: Husky Shepherd Mix Sex: Male Age: 8 months Weight: 50 lbs Size: Medium Like many dogs who come to local shelters, Crumbles arrived as a stray and no one came forward to reclaim him. While his past remains a mystery, we've discovered that Crumbles is a sweet, playful young dog with a gentle soul. He can be a little shy but it doesn't take long before his silly personality shines through. With his striking blue eyes, Crumbles has a way of staring right into your soul and reminding you just how much he wants love and companionship. He loves his people here and bonded quick to us, he is noted to be dog social, and is always ready to start the day. Crumbles is looking for a home that can continue guiding him through his puppy years. Ideal Home Adults or homes with children 10+ Active family Commitment to ongoing training Another dog who enjoys and can tolerate puppy play Open to homes with out other dogs too Cat friendly homes ok Cats Crumbles tested well with cats in the shelter, but he did chase cats in his foster home. Any cat placement should be considered carefully and managed appropriately. Training & Behaviour Crumbles is a friendly, social young dog who is still learning his manners. He is currently working on: Keeping all four feet on the ground instead of jumping up Basic obedience refreshers Loose-leash walking General puppy impulse control He is eager to learn, people-oriented, and responds well to positive reinforcement training. Why He's Worth It Crumbles is the kind of dog many people dream of finding: social, dog-friendly, active, and affectionate. Beneath his youthful enthusiasm is a gentle, loving dog looking for a family to connect with. He may need a little fine-tuning, but the reward is a loyal companion who wants nothing more than to be included in your adventures and part of your family. For the right home, Crumbles will be absolutely worth it.

**Note: Currently, Saenan is in a foster home in Surrey, BC.For more info about the dog, or the adoption application, please click this link.BackgroundBeautiful Saenan was rescued from a city pound in Sangju, Korea, last winter. He lived with other dogs at our partner boarding house until he left Korea. Currently, he lives in a foster home in Surrey, BC.Personality & SocializationSaenan has a medium to high energy level, but he is not overly hyper. He carries a happy and balanced kind of energy that makes him a really easy companion to live with. He loves being outside, whether it is going for walks, getting fresh air, or simply lying in the sun and relaxing. When it comes to other dogs, Saenan has been very sociable and well-mannered. He spends most of his time with dogs around his size, and he’s always comfortable and loving in their company. He gets along easily and enjoys being part of the group.Saenan is also very affectionate and friendly with people, men, women, and even new faces. He warms up quickly to anyone who shows him kindness and loves being close to his humans.BehavioursSaenan has been an easygoing dog since joining our adoption program. He rides well in the car, does fine during baths and vet visits, and follows his human’s lead nicely. He has recently discovered the joy of playing with toys, and it is adorable to watch. Seeing him pick up a toy and happily entertain himself is such a sweet moment. He plays with a gentle, curious excitement that really shows his playful and innocent side.He enjoys a calm, happy routine and a peaceful home environment. After his outdoor play sessions, he relaxes quietly and enjoys cuddling or resting beside his friends. Saenan walks well on leash and hasn’t shown destructive behaviors.Health & DietWhen rescued, Saenan was treated for heartworm and has made a full recovery. He is now healthy, happy, and ready for his forever home. He’s neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and on monthly parasite prevention. He eats dry food twice a day and has shown no allergies.Ideal HomeSeanan would do best with someone familiar with the breed or at least experienced with large dogs. Compared to other Huskies, he has a more mellow and easygoing personality and does not require as much exercise. He would enjoy a home with another friendly large dog, as he likes being around other dogs. However, he would also be perfectly happy as the only dog in a home that enjoys walks and spending time outdoors with him. Seanan is very smart, loyal, and loving. He will be a devoted and wonderful companion.**Note: Currently, Saenan is in a foster home in Surrey, BC.For more info about the dog, or the adoption application, please click this link.
