9/1/22 estimated birthday. Roxi and her sister Ginny street abandoned in an orchard. They stayed there for a week in a storm waiting for their family to come back. It took me 4.5 hrs to catch them. They were afraid of me then when I got them home they thought I was their best friend. Roxi is a very happy girl. She loves belly rubs. She follows me around happily. She likes to be on the couch and hang on my lap. She loves with foster cats and is doing well. I dint know if she is potty trained.. We run our home a bit like a shelter with multiple foster dogs. She has kennel time, house time and yard time on a schedule. Fixed, deworm treatments and microchiped. I'm not sure of the breed mix. Just going by her body.

Story
Paisley is an absolutely adorable 4 1/2-month-old Chiweenie (Dachshund/Chihuahua) mix weighing 9.5 pounds, with a lovely tan, smooth coat. She was born (04/7/25). She’s a little shy but very sweet, and she’s looking for a loving forever home—either alone or with her siblings Piper, Parker, and Prince. Her story is heartwarming—her mom was purchased for just $20 from a homeless man, and when she was pregnant, the family who bought her didn’t realize she was expecting. Thankfully, she delivered her puppies safely, and now Paisley and her siblings are ready to bring joy to new families. Paisley is scheduled to be spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. As a puppy, she will need house training and leash training when old enough, but she’s eager to learn and love. Are you ready to open your heart and home to this sweet little girl? Paisley can’t wait to become a cherished member of your family! If we need to look something up later and you used a different email we are often not able to find it. 2. Adopt a Pet and Petfinders ask you to send us an enquiry. This always delays our response. (Why) a. Our biographies are always very detailed. Therefore sending an enquiry asking us to repeat what it says in the biography causes a lot more work and delays our response. b. We are a small non-profit and do not always have the help to answer as many enquiries as we get. c. Again our Biographies are very detailed and if you just click the link near the bottom of their bio you can fill out an application which we will respond to. 3. For the AFC website (scroll down to the bio at the bottom it says (apply to adopt today- click that link) www.animalfriendsconnect.org 4. Story
Lainey is a darling little chihuahua mix. She was born around 2/2024 and is currently 9 lbs. Lainey is happy, playful, affectionate and medium energy. She has a gentle, submissive, sweet way about her that is very endearing. She can be shy when meeting new people but has shown she will warm up with slow, gentle introductions and treats. Lainey likes playing with her toys and chewing on her chewy bones. She likes to explore in the yard and play chase with her dog buddies. She enjoys being with her people and desires to be a large part of her family’s life. She likely would not do well being left home alone daily for long hours. Lainey enjoys the company of other friendly, respectful dogs who are not overly dominant. She seems to prefer dogs around her size to play and romp around with. She will play with some larger dogs provided they are not overly rough. She does not enjoy rambunctious, wrestling type play but does love to play chase with other dogs. Lainey currently lives with well balanced dogs of all sizes and does well with them. She also lives with dog savvy cats and is respectful with them but she might challenge shy kitties and chase if they run. Children would likely overwhelm her so an adult only home is recommended. She really enjoys a yard so no apartments for her. She is crate trained, doing well with house training and learning to walk politely on a leash. Lainey would likely do well with a person who has the time, patience and understanding to help her adjust in a new home. She would enjoy a confident, friendly dog buddy to pal around with, help show her the ropes and keep her company while her humans are away from home. Lainey is a little sweetheart who is a joy to foster and is patiently waiting for her forever home. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Aggie! (Formerly Ronan, but he’s upgraded—new name, same adorable chaos.) Born on October 16th, Aggie is a 27-pound snuggle nugget  which is the perfect size for lap warming, bed hogging, and dramatically throwing himself into your arms like the star of a telenovela. With a gorgeous seal-colored coat, a heart of gold, and just enough goofball energy to keep your life interesting. He’s neutered, vaccinated, and ready to wiggle his way straight into your lap and your heart. Aggie didn’t have the easiest start. He and his three siblings came from a heartbreaking situation—only two survived after being neglected by another rescue, and his dog mom checked out early on. The pups were dangerously underweight and had to be bottle-fed back to health. So yeah, Aggie has seen some things… and he’s here to tell the tale (mostly through zoomies and enthusiastic barking at the wind). Because of that rocky start, Aggie resource guards his food—totally understandable—so he’s fed in his crate. Outside the food bowl? Total love bug. Raised with other dogs, he’s playful, social, and would be thrilled to have a canine sibling to wrestle and romp with. Now, full disclosure: Aggie isn’t gunning for “Dog Jeopardy” any time soon. But what he lacks in academic ambition, he makes up for in charm and commitment to being the most snuggly loaf in the room. I can't say it enough, he thrives on affection, belly rubs, and curling up as close to you as physically possible—he's basically a weighted blanket with legs. Now, don’t be fooled by his size—Aggie has the energy of a dog twice his weight and the vocal cords of a town crier. Is that a bird? A breeze? A suspicious-looking Amazon box? You’ll hear about it. (We suspect there’s some chihuahua in the family tree.) He is probably part chihuahua, part neighborhood watch captain. He may not be the calmest dog on the block, but he makes up for it with charm, resilience, and top-tier cuddling skills. If you're looking for a funny, affectionate sidekick who’s overcome the odds and still greets life with a tail wag and a full-body wiggle—Aggie’s your guy.   You can apply online at:AdoptPet - Recycled Pets NorCalVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 26, 2025, 2:36 pm
