This little girl was going to be surrendered to the shelter so we took her in. She is super sweet and playful.

ola was pulled from Stanislaus Shelter’s red list on February 20th, just nine days after arriving completely shut down and overwhelmed. Like so many sensitive little souls, the shelter environment swallowed her confidence, and she quickly landed on the euthanasia list.. She is playful, loves other dogs, loves to chase bugs and birds. She is part of the one ear up one ear down club. lol But one foster stepped up. A transporter said yes. And because of that, Lola’s story didn’t end — it began. She spent her first weekend in quiet decompression, and she was an absolute angel. Once she moved to her regular foster home, she blossomed almost instantly. She now sleeps curled up with the foster’s daughter, plays joyfully with the resident dogs, and soaks up every bit of affection she can get. Her confidence grows daily, and her sweetness is undeniable. Meet Cole! This adorable little guy is a 4-month-old (born approx. 12/19/25), 6.9-pound black and white Chiweenie mix with a big personality packed into a tiny frame. Cole’s story started off rough—he and his brothers, Corbin and Casey, were heartlessly dumped in the countryside near a busy highway. Thankfully, a kind Good Samaritan rescued them and brought them to safety at AFC. Now, all three boys are ready to find the loving homes they truly deserve. As a young puppy, Cole will need guidance with house training and will require leash training once he is fully vaccinated. He is scheduled to be neutered and is already microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated. Cole is full of love, curiosity, and that irresistible puppy charm. Freddy weighs 11 pounds and is 4 years old. He is a happy, energetic little dog. Freddy can sometimes be a little nervous when he meets new people, but he warms up quickly once he knows them. He can sometimes be protective of his food and that is why we are recommending no children. His new family will need to be patient with him, but he will be worth it!

Tofu was a rescue but adapted to the house quickly. He has youthful energy, but listens to basic commands well. He loves meeting people and greets without jumping, plays well at the dog park and is very treat motivated. He's loves walks, and is snuggly at home. He is not loud, but barks a threats. It's rare enough that we always check to see what he's barking at, usually someone actually in the yard.My father has dementia and some days just gets confused by the dog being in the house. He is the only reason we are looking to re-home a dog we love and enjoy a great deal.
