Meet Papitas Sofritas Fajitas! Papitas came to us as a foster from NoCo Humane’s Loveland campus, and after learning the shelter was overcrowded, we couldn’t bear to send her back. This sweet girl is the perfect mix of cuddle bug and adventure buddy. She loves hiking, exploring, chasing toys, and squeaky toys are her absolute favorite. Papitas is also quite the conversationalist and will happily “talk back” when you talk to her! She has lived successfully with both dogs and cats and is a polite housemate who will paw at you when she’s ready for a potty break. While she’s brave in many ways, thunderstorms and fireworks aren’t her favorite, and she appreciates a cozy place to feel safe during loud weather. If you’re looking for a loving best friend who can join you on the trail and then snuggle up on the couch afterward, Papitas is your girl. Adopt Papitas and make every day Taco Tuesday!

Looking to re-home our senior dog Mack, he is very friendly with people, but in his old age has gotten a little aggressive with other animals. He has some sensitivities that children may not understand so we recommend a house with no kiddos either. We would love to keep him, but our other dog is too much of a puppy for him to be around. He was a family dog that we took on so it has been a very hard decision for us to even consider finding a new home for him. I am currently fostering Arthur located in Greeley, Colorado! Arthur loves to lay on the couch and relax that’s his favorite, he sleeps most of the day. He’s an older guy but very sweet and cuddly. He likes to sleep in your bed at night and burrow. Short walks are best for him because of his little legs and age. He is shy to new people but warms up pretty quick. He loves his treats, bully sticks, and his food! He plays with his ball and chews on his bones. Arthur will come with his own stairs to get up onto the bed/higher couches, dry food, treats, leash/collar, his favorite toys, winter jacket, brush, bowls, poop bags! - 9 years 4 months- Dachshund (~20 pounds)- Up-to-date on all vaccines, - Neutered - Home with no kids- Home with no big dogs (maybe small mellow dogs would be ok)- Does best with slow introductions - He currently is on 5 medications/supplements- He has chicken allergy - Fully potty trained goes out on a leash but would also love a yard!
