Hey I’m Chapo, and I heard you were looking for a sidekick? I’m your guy! I love nothing more than being a lap dog, passenger prince (I’m great in the car) and your snuggle buddy! I am guessed to be a 6-7 year old Chihuahua mix, and I came all the way from Oklahoma to be your best friend. A few things you’ll love about me is I’m handsome, great on a leash, potty trained, crate trained, and want nothing more then to be by your side. However, I do get bit overwhelmed with pushy dogs and also with young children, so I’d be best in a slower paced home with another slow and quiet dog as a friend and no little kiddos at home. I’d also love to be the only dog and soak up all the love if that's what you've got in mind as well! Please come visit me!

Gentle, sweet, happy Darby is a delightful older gentleman seeking a cozy home. He’s good with dogs, cats, and kids. While Darby is technically a senior, he’s not ready for retirement! He’s been on restriction for a month being treated for heartworm but he comes off that restriction soon and will be ready to get back to being frisky, barking at passing cars and people and playing tug with his foster brother. Once he gets his sass out, Darby likes to lounge on the couch of snuggle in your lap. He’s sleeping in a crate here but would LOVE to sleep in the bed with you and burrow under the covers.Darby will need to be retested for heartworm in 8 months to be sure he is clear and will need preventive and regular testing for life. Darby is mostly housebroken with regular monitoring but he will likely go through an adjustment in a new home.
