She is a wonderful dog. She is timid and kind. My daughter is experiencing an ongoing mental health crisis that has scared Piper. Piper now tries to escape and leave the home. We do not feel it is safe for her to stay here, although not in direct danger, she is so stressed she continues to escape. It breaks our heart.

Story
Baker was adopted from Multnomah County Animal Shelter in Spring of 22, & I have had him in my care since. He is about 5yo. I am rehoming him because as his sole caretaker I cannot keep up with the financial obligations.Baker is a sweet & goofy dog, with a lot of personality. He loves other dogs, people & children. He likes to cuddle & sleeps in my bed, but he was crate trained as a puppy so I am sure he would readjust to that fine. I let him free roam while I am at work & he is house trained & not destructive at all. He is smart & knows lots of fun tricks. I wouldn't consider him a high energy dog, when we aren't walking, he is a couch potato. He is a great dog and I really hope I can find him a good homeHe has a high prey drive & likes to chase squirrels & fast-moving objects like skateboards, so he needs a strong owner (I wouldn't recommend him to a home with cats). Overall, he is a biddable & food motivated dog, & I think the right person could work with him on his impulse control.

Story
Maizey will be 8 years old this coming July. She was adopted from Lifeline Puppy Rescue. She is the best dog. She does bark to alert because of her breed, heeler mix. Otherwise she is such a good listener. Low maintenance dog. My life circumstances don’t allow me to give her the time that she deserves. Looking for a loving home that she can get the attention she deserves. Maizey has a younger sister dog, Luna, a border collie mix, that I’d like to have them adopted together, if possible.

Story
Millie gives the energy of a fox. She is bonded to her brother, Duke, and they need to be adopted together. I adopted them both when they were 8 weeks old. They and their litter were found on a reservation in New Mexico. Both dogs have always been timid, skittish, and relatively serious. They enjoy going to doggy daycare and the giant off leash dog park to run. We recently found out that they have strong prey drives when they attacked our pet bird. We moved to a condo and they have been stressed by not having a yard. Millie is good on a leash and enjoys being outside when the weather is nice. Being a cattle dog mix, she needs someone who is willing to train her and give her a job. She is a picky eater.

Story
Duke is a highly sensitive pup. He is bonded with his sister, Millie, and they need to be adopted together. He is 5 years old and I have had him and his sister since they were 8 weeks old. They were initially found with their litter on a reservation in New Mexico. They both have always been timid, skittish, and relatively serious dogs. They have grown up around children but I have always kept a close eye on them because they clearly like their space. They have spent time at doggy daycares and love the giant off leash dog parks to run. I recently moved into a condo and it has been stressful for them to not have a yard. Duke's anxiety and reactivity has increased to more than I am able to have. He is leash reactive and has a strong prey drive (which we recently learned when he attacked our pet bird). He is reactive to other dogs when he's on the leash or behind a fence.As a cattle dog mix, Duke needs someone who can train him and give him a job. He loves praise and chicken treats.
