Story
Freddy (blonde) and Vincent (brown) are bonded, litter mates. They’ve been together since the day they were born. They are sweet and very cuddly. They are six years old, born in October of 2020. Freddy can be protective when it comes to strangers, but they are both loving and sweet dogs. They sleep all day, no real interest in toys. However, Vincent loves to play fetch with tennis balls, and Freddy likes playing tag. Fred’s fur is long and wiry, and does require grooming. Freddy will be a kids partner in crime. Vincent will lick anybody to death. They will come with a cage, toys, bag of food, collars, and leashes for no price. They need a good home that they can live together ASAP, that’s all I ask. Vincent can NOT survive without Freddy, as he gets depressed and won’t eat.

Guito is a sweet little guy whose world was turned upside down.After spending the last four years in a home, Guito recently found himself back at Boone Area Humane Society when his family made the difficult decision to return him. After losing his canine companion, Guito struggled with the change and began barking more than he had before. While we know this has been a confusing time for him, one thing is abundantly clear—this little dog has so much love left to give.Guito absolutely adores people. He is affectionate, gentle, and happiest when he's close to his humans. Like many small dogs, the shelter environment is overwhelming for him, and we'd love to see him back in the comfort of a home as soon as possible.When Guito arrived back at the shelter, his coat needed a little TLC. He had several mats that have since been carefully removed by our staff, and he's feeling much more comfortable. He's currently waiting for his rabies vaccine, but he's available through our foster-to-adopt program so he doesn't have to spend any more time in the shelter than necessary.Guito is looking for a family who understands that life can be full of changes and is willing to give him the patience, stability, and love he deserves.
