Lexie-Chiweenie female puppy, ~ 5-6 mo. (Dec. 2025) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application. Lexie’s owner could no longer afford to care for her. She wanted a better life for Lexie so she asked the rescue to help. Lexie is used to living with other dogs in a home setting. She is spunky, fun-loving, and playful, Chiweenies bring together the energy and personality of Chihuahuas and Dachshunds with little to no shedding. They are fiercely loyal to their owners and develop strong bonds with them. These tenacious little dogs are extremely alert. Their intelligence, quick wit, and enthusiasm are a delight to their families. Lexie's adoption fee is $350 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. Hello I got Lucky when she was a little over a year old from a shelter. She was abused and not treated well before me. She can be very defensive and become scared. She is very sweet in many many ways. However an adult needs to adopt her with no children in the house. My step daughter does not understand how to be gentle and patient with the dog and Lucky will snap and nip at my step daughter. When it was just me and lucky everything was fine. She needs to be with someone who does not have children in the house. She’s very sweet in many many ways and deserves a great home. She’ll be 10 in February and I want her to be able to live the rest of her life in a loving home.
