Current Location: Strasburg, VA Hello! My name is Lucy! I'm thought to be a Dachshund mix about 2 years old and I currently weigh about 31 pounds - though I am still working on getting my post baby shape back! I'm a sweet gal who enjoys the people I've met so far and I get along very well with the other dogs in the house. I especially enjoy snuggling and will jump up on the couch or recliner to lay next to people. I'm house trained, walk well on a leash and do fine in a crate though my foster family doesn't crate me anymore since I've proven to be trustworthy when left alone at night. I'm microchipped and current on my vaccines and monthly preventatives. I do still need to be spayed, which should happen the first week in January. I am heartworm positive so I need to receive that treatment before I can be adopted and should be able to go to my new home by the end of January. I’m looking for my forever family! Is that with you? Her family cared for her with devotion, but age caught them faster than it caught Zo. Her dad had recently suffered a stroke and could no longer meet her needs. Zo is settling in beautifully.
