Seven year old Lola and her one year old pup, Opie, came into a rescue in Indiana. They each need a great home. Lola looks to be Chi-weenie as does Opie, although he is slightly larger. I got Gronk when he was just 12 weeks old from the same breeder I got his sister Bella who was 2 years older than him. Gronk is a sweet boy but unfortunately lost his older sister in 2024. Gronk just wanted to have all the attention on him he would do best in a home where someone is home with him or takes him everywhere maybe a retired individual or someone who works from home. He loves to be outside running around or going for walks. He is 8 years old but very active.

Welcome Maverick to CCPAL Foster Program. Maverick is a 4-year-old Chiweenie. He weighs about 19 pounds. He is good on a leash, good in a car. He is potty trained and very loyal to his person. He knows “go for a walk”, “stop”, “leave it”, “It’s the neighbor” and a few other commands. He is in a home and the owner is having some very big financial issues and need to find Maverick a new home. Maverick has some allergies to food and the food that he can is a Duck and Potato kibble. He has some allergies to grass. He has take Apoquel successfully to handle the allergies. He warms up slowly and is very loyal and bonded once he has bonded. He would be great for a senior couple or single wanting a companion. A nice yard for him to get exercise in would be nice or someone that could have the time to take him on a couple of walks would be great. He isn’t the social butterfly that some dogs are so a matching owner would be the best fit. He would be a great dog to alert you to someone at the door or something being off in the environment. He is good on walks and would help a senior be more active. He is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. He could go with children but we would like them to be teens. I think a quieter home would be best for this boy. His adoption fee is $400 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Blue is 5 years old and a wonderful dog. He’s always lived with other dogs but as if 2 years ago doesn’t get along with older male chihuahua who is father actually. He’s not trained but listens and is super sweet. He also isn’t spayed. He is my third dog and they are mostly kept in the kitchen. I believe this has stressed him and it’s why he has become aggressive towards my other male dog Rexx. He really just needs a loving a patient person. Blue deserves a good loving home, that can be patient and willing to teach him. I hope someone can really give him a second chance. I don’t want an adoption fee only for him to go to a good home. I will keep him until he finds the perfect new home.

Bella’s a great dog. I just can’t keep up with her needs due to significant life changes and factors like being a single working mom. She’s very affectionate. Loves to run around and look into new things. She loves treats and meeting people. She’s great with kids and cats. Dogs she’s not really been exposed to much so she doesn’t really get along with them much. She’s very much a snuggler. She likes to cuddle up in bed and lay in the blankets and lay against you. She’s ten years old and still runs around like she’s young. I’m just not home very much to be able to give a good lifestyle. I’d love for her to be taken out more often, to be played with and more. I can make sure her vaccines are up to date before adoption. And give her current supplies. I just want her in a loving and happy home that can provide for her more than I can. It’s what she deserves. This is very hard and emotional decision especially since I had her since I was 14. But it’s for the best. Give her a chance ❤️
