Mr. Tilly is a 12lb, exceptionally shy pup looking for a home who will help him adjust to a new life. Please read his entire bio before reaching out to the shelter. He is looking for an adult home only. Due to Mr. Tilly's shy personality, he is looking for a quiet home environment, and would not be suited to large apartment complexes at this time. He will require multiple meets at the shelter with patient, adult adopters able to visit him at WARL  before he is ready to go to a new home. In his case, his shyness and fear of new people could cause him to snap at people who reach out to touch him before he is ready. Mr. Tilly is looking for a home as an only dog. This shy guy is looking for just the right fit, in a quiet home with gentle people who can appreciate how tough it can be to be left wandering, as he was found as a stray in Worcester with no owner coming forward to claim him. Mr. Tilly has trouble bonding with new people, but is lovely with the staff who care for him. He does not want to be petted or picked up by new people, just given some space to observe and relax without being overwhelmed by attention. Mr. Tilly does have complex medical needs that will require an adopter able to provide him with ongoing veterinary care.  Once Mr. Tilly makes friends, he is very sweet and bouncy, and needs folks who understand dog body language and also don't require a dog to instantly adore them. This handsome, senior gentleman is Valentine! Valentine is a special guy as he is mostly blind and partially deaf. Once Valentine is comfortable, he loves to sit on his person's feet, and be cuddled, so he is definitely a dog that will be underfoot. Valentine really just loves companionship and touch. He can be a little protective meeting new people. He weighs about 8 lbs. and has his own voice! He will bark to see where his people are, and to let them know he would like their company. Valentine is about 12 years old and is looking for a home that will enjoy his need to cuddle, and he would like that home to be without other dogs. Valentine might be able to live with cats who stay away from his food! Valentine could live with older teens who can understand that he needs to be gently handled. LOOK AT HIS FACE !!!!  Fury might be 1 of the cutest puppies I have ever seen. Very sweet and loveable boy considering his beginning.  Fury was found roaming around in a dump looking for food.  It is not known if he found his way there, or if he was abandoned there.  But, that doesn't matter now.  He's been rescued and no looking back. Fury is learning how to play with toys.  He is very good on a leash, enjoys car rides, company from his humans, gets along with cats and is great with dogs.  He is crushing potty training! Fury is only 7 months old and weighs just 8 lbs.   ##2044605##
