Story
Buddy is an 11 year old Chiweenie(Dachshund/Chihuahua). Buddy is a senior....who doesn't know he's a senior! Unfortunately, Buddy's owner recently passed away and he ended up at the dog pound, where we rescued him from. Everyone who meets Buddy falls in love with him. He is the sweetest little dog and loves to crawl into your lap for love. He has these eyes that talk to you and you can't help but want to take him home. He doesn't have any teeth, but eats well! Buddy doesn't mind a crate, but prefers the couch and a blanket for his long naps. He uses steps to get on the couch and bed. Buddy gets along well with other small dogs and dances when he gets excited. He likes the idea of toys, but has trouble gripping them with no teeth. Buddy loves to be close to his human and would be a great senior companion dog. At 10 and a half pounds, he is easy to lift if needed, but he comes on the run when called and walks well on a leash. Buddy is also housetrained and just very well mannered. Buddy has been vet checked, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and is on heartworm/flea prevention. Story
Looking for a better home for our boy Finn. We got.hime from a family member who did not treat him well in hopes to give him a better home. Unfortunately, with our kids and work lives we don't have the time to spend with him that we thought we would. He is very energetic and like his toys. He is mostly potty trained but still have had a few accidents. Can sit, lay down, shake, and will go to crate on command most times. Does decent on a leash, but will get a little unruly occasionally. Can answer more questions upon request. We are hoping someone will have the time and love to give him a good home!
