Story
Hi, my name is Chica. I am roughly a one to two-year-old Dachshund Chihuahua mix. My foster mom says she's proud of me for a lot of reasons. For example, I like new people after I meet them for a few minutes, I am quiet - I hardly ever bark or whine except when my foster cats won't play with me. I only go potty outside and do well in my crate. I sit real still when I'm asked to and when I'm getting my leash on and off. I enjoy playing fetch and with all kinds of toys! Although I have a lot of good manners, I am still young and working to be the best girl I can be. There are a couple of things that make me nervous, big dogs I don't know and strangers outside, but I'm trying to be brave. I would love to find a family to play and cuddle with me. Meet Punkin Don’t let the tiny size fool you, Punkin has a big personality packed into her little 2-year-old Chihuahua body. This sweet girl loves being close to her people and will happily claim the coziest spot on the couch (or your lap!) as her throne. Her expressive little face and adorable ears make it impossible not to smile when she’s around. If you’re looking for a tiny best friend with a big heart, Punkin might just be your girl. Punkin lives with another dog and cat in her foster home. We are unsure how she will do around kids because she has not been exposed to them yet.
