Story
Meet Wanda 🌸 **Two pups, one very special bond — Cosmo and Wanda are looking for a home together** Wanda is a small Chihuahua mix with a thoughtful, observant spirit. She’s a reserved girl who takes her time, carefully reading the world around her before stepping in. Rather than rushing into everything, Wanda chooses to move at a pace that feels safe to her—and that calm awareness is one of her greatest strengths. She is still learning that humans can be trusted, but once she forms that bond, Wanda is incredibly sweet and affectionate. She responds beautifully to soft voices and gentle baby talk, and when you’re calm and patient, she’ll happily settle into your lap and enjoy quiet moments together. She is bonded to her brother, Cosmo, and must be adopted with him. Wanda draws confidence from Cosmo’s protective nature and feels safest knowing he’s by her side. Together, they create a perfectly balanced pair—his bravery and her quiet discernment complement each other beautifully. Wanda thrives in a low-traffic, peaceful home where her sensitivity is respected. Fast movements can startle her, but with time and consistency, she continues to learn that the world isn’t as scary as it once seemed. With patience, understanding, and a gentle home, Wanda will reward you with deep trust and a kind of devotion that only a truly thoughtful dog can give.

Story
Meet Daffodil — a little flower who’s finally learning to bloom. Daffodil is a 3–4-year-old, 17-pound pup with a heart as gentle as her name. She came from a hoarding situation and has spent the last several months discovering what it means to feel safe and loved. Her journey hasn’t been easy, but it’s been remarkable to watch her grow. Daffodil is very dog-friendly and absolutely needs at least one other dog in her home — they’re her comfort, her confidence, and her teachers. A securely fenced yard is also a must, as Daffodil doesn’t yet know how to walk on a leash and finds joy in running full speed through the grass, getting the zoomies, and playing with toys. She’s not fully house trained, but she does well using puppy pads when she can’t make it outside. Daffodil has also shown potential to live peacefully with cats. Because of her past, Daffodil is wary of new people and situations. She needs a calm, patient home without a lot of noise or chaos. The first few weeks (or even months) will take understanding and consistency — but when she decides you’re one of her people, you’ll know it. She becomes affectionate, playful, and loves nothing more than burrowing under the blanket for a snuggle or inviting you to play her favorite games. Daffodil isn’t an “easy” dog — she’s a special one. She’s looking for a home that will meet her where she is and help her continue to blossom into the joyful, trusting little dog she’s meant to be.
