Say hi to Miss Roxy! This thirteen year old Chihuahua mix is aged to perfection. Her age does not slow her down one bit! At a whopping eighteen pounds, she is the perfect lap-sized companion who loves to make new friends! Roxy is ready to provide so much love and loyalty to the right family. Roxy is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations! You can meet her daily at the CASPCA between the hours of 12-6pm. For more information, email adoptions@caspca.org

Daffodil aka Dilly 🌼 Dilly is a special girl who has spent the last year conducting some very serious research into whether humans can actually be trusted. When Dilly first came into our program, she was a scared little mess. During the day, she wanted absolutely nothing to do with anyone and preferred the safety of her crate. Once night fell and the humans were safely out of the way, she'd creep around her foster home like a tiny mouse. Then one day... Dilly came out during daylight hours. She walked into the middle of the room, stood completely still, and stared at everyone like she had just made the biggest mistake of her life. But she survived. 😂 So she tried it again. Little by little, Dilly started spending more time outside of her crate. She made friends with her foster family's dogs, and having canine buddies around seemed to convince her that maybe being part of a family wasn't such a terrible idea after all. Fast forward to today, and Dilly has officially decided that her foster mom is her best friend. Foster dad? The jury is still out. She's keeping an eye on him. She still has some of her little feral tendencies. Fast movements? Suspicious. Being picked up? Absolutely unnecessary, thank you very much. But somewhere along the way, Dilly discovered that pets are actually pretty great. Then she discovered cuddles. And eventually, she realized that being loved might not be so scary after all. Dilly will likely take a few steps backward when she moves into a new home. New people and a new environment are going to be a big adjustment for her, and she'll need someone who won't rush the process. Her adopter will need to let her hide, watch, investigate, and eventually decide on her own that they're worth trusting. But we've already watched her do it once. We know that underneath that suspicious little exterior is a dog who desperately wants connection. When Dilly finally decides you're one of her people, you've earned something pretty special. She's just going to need a minute to make sure you're not sketchy first. 🌼

Avery is the most loving dog I have ever been around. She literally gives standing hugs when you return home! She is such a joy, and those crooked ears are just too adorable—she had me at first glance at the SPCA back in 2019.Avery is:• 11 years old with the mentality and physicality of a much younger dog• Extremely alert, active, and athletic• Gentle with children and good with household cats• Easily trained and adapts quickly to new people• House-trained, spayed, and microchippedShe is in her element at a local dog park where she can run off-leash on wooded and grassy trails—to watch her sprint is an amazing thing! She would be great with a trail runner (after she's had a chance to get her sniffing out of the way!). On a leash, she needs an experienced walker who can remain vigilant and use treats or distraction to help her manage reactivity around other dogs and local wildlife.💰 Rehoming fee: $0
