Story
Meet Blossom! Sweet Blossom is one of four pups in our Powerpuff Girls group. She and the other members of the Powerpuff Girls were removed from a hoarding situation. A local shelter asked for our help with these young puppies, and we were happy to take them into our rescue. I mean, who could resist this face? With black, fawn, and white fur, Blossom is a Chihuahua/Jack Russell terrier mix with soulful eyes who will be a small dog when grown. She’s gentle and calm with adorable ears. Likely born in early April, Blossom will be spayed shortly (6/25/26) and able to go home with an adopter a few days after her surgery. We are taking applications for Blossom, and this loving and playful puppy is currently in a foster home getting lots of attention, cuddling, and playtime. Blossom is growing into a healthy, active, affectionate pup ready for her new home. Want to learn more about Blossom? Fill out an inquiry or application form today! **Puppies this young cannot be left alone more than a few hours at a time. Please only apply if you can be home with your puppy or can make arrangements for the puppy’s care. Ready to adopt? Now what? Please take 3-4 minutes and complete our application form at: www.lilaccitypupproject.org. Our adoption team will spring into action! You will have a phone call conversation with a dedicated adoption counselor, and the adoption team will contact your vet(s), if applicable. Once you have been matched with a dog, a meet and greet will be set up and take place at the foster family's home. After the meet and greet, there will be a home inspection and in-home trial prior to adoption finalization. Lilac City Pup Project is entirely volunteer and foster run, with no kennel facility. Only approved adoption applicants will be able to meet our dogs outside of adoption events. Adoption Donations: $350 for Puppies up to 9 months $300 for Adults 9 months or older *includes spay/neuter, all core vaccinations, and microchip. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as Lilac City Pup Project is a federal 501c3 organization. Not sure you want to adopt, foster first and adopt later! LCPP is always in need of fosters. There is an overwhelming number of dogs who need our help and the more fosters we have, the more dogs we can save. LCPP covers expenses, including food. Fosters provide love and a soft place to crash. At Lilac City Pup Project we strive to better the lives of vulnerable dogs through rescue, foster, and adoption services; educate dog owners and empower them to build successful human/canine relationships; and support the local community by partnering with shelters facing overcrowding and limited resources. LCPP is organized exclusively for public, charitable, and/or educational purposes under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. LCPP is a Nonprofit organization formed in Washington State in April 2025, by passionate dog lovers. One hundred percent (100%) of every dollar goes to furthering our tax-exempt purpose. Story
Meet Eden! Eden is the mama of our Famous Gardens litter; she and her 7 puppies traveled from Brazoria, Texas to the PNW area for a second chance at life. Born in 2024 , Eden is a dacshund mixed breed, small size dog. Loving, gentle, and a dedicated mom to her pups, Eden cares for her babies while sneaking in a little well-deserved “me time” when she can. We are taking applications for Eden now, and she will be able to go home with an adopter once her pups are weaned, and she has been spayed, around 7/24. Mama Eden and her puppies are settling into a foster home in Spokane. As the puppies become less dependent on her, we will be able to assess her crate, potty, leash, and obedience training. We will be learning more about Eden in the coming days, so please check back for more information.  Want to meet Eden? Fill out an inquiry or visit our website for more information!   What is Path of Hope Rescue’s Adoption Process?   Our adoption process takes on average 7-10 days.   Begin by completing the online application. EVERY application receives an email response from us (check your spam folder!).   Your personal Matchmaker will contact you, help you find your perfect pup match, and guide you through the process.   Meet your potential pup at the home of the foster family (the process may differ slightly for long distance adopters).   Bring your potential pup home for a no commitment In Home Trial. In Home Trials are a minimum of (2) nights for a puppy and one week for an adult. Your Matchmaker will check in with you during this time.   Sign the adoption paperwork and adopt your new family member!   Adopting from Path of Hope Rescue   Our adoption process sets us apart. We specialize in learning about you and your family to find just the right fit for you. Our Matchmakers are not only good at what they do; they will also guide you through the entire process.    Our Minimum Adoption Donation is $550 for puppies under a year and $450 for dogs a year and older. We are a WA state registered non-profit and rely heavily on adoption donations to cover the expenses associated with saving lives. Our dogs are spayed/neutered prior to adoption; microchipped with free lifetime registration; and up to date on DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccinations (when age appropriate) and deworming and heartworm treatment/prevention. Adopters can also earn a $100 training refund if they attend (6) hours of any in person training course.    Long Distance adopters (one hour or more from Spokane) may choose to travel to Spokane to pick up their dog or use our monthly transport option, Puppy Delivery Express, for an additional delivery donation of $250. Puppy Delivery Express currently delivers dogs throughout Washington and to parts of Montana, Idaho, and Oregon.   About Path of Hope Rescue   At Path of Hope Rescue, our goal is to make EVERY DOG. WANTED. Our two employees and army of volunteers focus on transporting pregnant dogs and puppies from Texas, the number one kill state in America. The dogs we rescue are in poor living conditions and on euthanasia lists in shelters that are inundated with unwanted animals. We want to give these dogs a chance and bring them to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive, loving homes.   We are 100% foster based; our dogs are fostered in loving homes where they are house and crate trained and learn basic obedience and leash skills. Dogs experience socialization opportunities with people, places, and other animals, and they receive the attention required to become well-rounded, healthy, and affectionate dogs that they would not otherwise receive in a shelter environment.   Our commitment does not end when the dog is adopted. Path of Hope offers post adoption owner support including information on making the dog’s transition to your home a smooth one; recommendations for Preferred Trainers; advice on pet behavior and wellness topics; Facebook litter groups to keep in touch with fellow adopters; and invitations to local rescue hosted events.    Please visit https://www.pathofhoperescue.com/ for more information about our organization and the adoption process.   ##2742587##
