Meet Aurora A Loving Chihuahua Mix Looking for Her Forever Home This sweet girl is Aurora, a charming Chihuahua mix estimated to be around 6 to 8 years old. She's a cuddle bug at heart who adores being petted and snuggling up with her favorite person. Aurora has a strong bond with her humans and makes a loyal little companion. Like many Chihuahuas, she can be a bit anxious and tends to be wary of strangers at first, but with a little patience, she warms up and shows her affectionate side. She's alert and protective- she' ll let you know when someone's at the door! She has been successfully boarded in the past and has great off-leash recall. Her leash manners are coming along nicely too, but she can be a little barky with dogs. Aurora would thrive in a calm home without other dogs, unless slowly and carefully introduced by someone with experience. I'm heartbroken to rehome her, but due to a recent divorce, my work schedule and living situation have changed significantly.

Meet Nahla – A Loving Senior Cheeweenie in Need of a New Home Nahla is a sweet 14-year-old Cheeweenie (Chihuahua/Dachshund mix) we've had since 2013 after rescuing her as a stray. She's incredibly affectionate, gentle, and great with other dogs and kids — including our 2-year-old daughter. Though she’s had housetraining issues since moving to a small apartment, we believe she’d do well with access to a yard. She's also sensitive about nail trimming, likely due to past trauma, so patience is key. Nahla is spayed, vaccinated, and current on vet care. While she’s a senior, she still has lots of love to give and would thrive with someone who enjoys cuddling. We’re heartbroken to rehome her due to a change in living circumstances, but our goal is to find her a safe, loving home. No adoption fee — just someone kind and caring.

We found this sweet dog on Craigslist from an accidental breeder when she was 3 months old. She prefers staying home and cuddling on the couch to walks or hikes, but will go just about anywhere to be with her people. She is nearly 5 years old and would be a wonderful companion in a home without other pets or young kids. We love her so much and she is very affectionate towards us. Unfortunately she resents our baby. After trying to manage to keep them in separate spaces for a year, their relationship has only soured with our baby’s increased mobility. I want our dog to be in an environment where she can receive the love, snuggles, and attention she deserves without the stress of sharing a home with our child.

New to rescue, sweet little girl, Oatmeal will be getting vetting done prior to adoption. She is great with other dogs, cats too. About 1 year old., Chiweenie. Does good on a leash, loves playing with other dogs and exploring. House trained. Oatmeal is a cuddle dog, loves to hang with her people and just be loved. Loves toys and treats! Will be spayed and up date on vaccines, microchipped, wormed, flea/tick treatment, and will be ready to bounce off to a new home after May 6th. FOSTER NEEDED BY 4/23/25: Chi weenie Ohana Ohana is a super sweet little 2-3 year old girl who weighs around 8-10 lbs. Ohana is a cling-on once she's comfortable. Since being surrender to the rescue, it's VERY CLEAR, she'll need to be with a single female that just wants a fun, walking, sleeping, companion. She follows you everywhere and will sit with you for hours. Ohanas cons are: she is very reactive toward men and active children. She does not bite, but she will nip at the heals and scare young children. Temporary foster's says 5 year old grandson sits and let's her come to him, she's fine. If he's running or just being a 5 year old, she's very reactive. Conclusion: Ohana is looking for a mom who will make her the center of attention! Ohana does well with other dogs but would prefer all of the attention. Ohana will bark at everything that comes into the house. She will settle down. It just takes her a minute. Ohana is spayed.
