FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Georgie! Georgie is a 4-year-old, 11 lb Chiweenie who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. Georgie is a loving little companion who enjoys being close to his people. Whether he’s snuggled up in your arms, heading out for a neighborhood walk, or joining you on an adventure, he’s happiest when he’s by your side. Georgie has done well with other dogs and would love a home with a friendly canine companion to help keep him socialized and provide a playmate. He could also do well as an only dog, provided his adopters are committed to continuing his socialization and giving him plenty of opportunities to get out and experience the world. Like many little dogs, he can occasionally show a bit of “boss man” energy, but it’s all part of his fun personality. Because Georgie can be a little sensitive to busy surroundings, he’d thrive in a quieter home outside of the hustle and bustle of the city. A calm neighborhood where he can enjoy daily walks, explore at his own pace, and build confidence will help him be his very best self. I have had little bear since she was only 6 weeks old. She looked like a little polar bear so thats what we named her. I worked 13 hr night shifts raising 1 kid with several dogs and little bear is MY dog. Not the kids mine. Shes the best hunter of flys, mosquitoes, spiders, and any kind of bug she sees. She catches and leaves never to see that bug again. She handles it out if sight.. weird right? On the hunt every morning noon and night I let her out and she gracefully jumps the 4 foot fence even tho shes only 12 lbs and she runs the whole 2.5 achres from 1 end to the other looking for anything if she can chase. . Skunk. (Never been sprayed) shes fast! Racoon. Never been bitten. Shes fast,! And when she sees a chicken ...you say no no little bear and she comes right back and smiles that cheesy grin! Oh shes such a good girl. But I have to rehome her and ,I would love visits if possible. ! Im crying writing this. Story to continue.. ok i need more room.

We call NITRO a Chiweenie… Dachshund and something else. He is the largest of the three weighing 10# and will probably get to be 18-20#s. DOB 5/10/26. He’s filled with energy and enthusiasm. This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. Lily was a rescue we got about 3 years ago. She is very sweet and snuggly but she does have a problem with peeing on rugs. She lives with 2 big dogs and 2 kids but she likes to have her space to relax by herself. She likes car rides and walks. She loves the heat. She likes to lay in the sun in the yard all day if she could. She will give kisses and snuggle in bed at night. She is kind but she needs space and lots of room to run.She has a lot of past trauma but has come a very long way. I just feel like she needs someone that can give her space to relax and more room to run and play. She also just wants attention and we can’t give her the amount she deserves. She is happy and will go in her kennel when asked. She can be destructive of shoes or pillows if left unattended with them. She does bark but only when super excited or someone walking by the yard.

This handsome little guy is incredibly smart, affectionate, and full of personality. Once he trusts you, he’ll become your most loyal companion and happiest little shadow. Freddie is house-trained, crate-trained, and has wonderful manners in the home. In fact, every evening he’ll happily tuck himself into his crate when it’s time for bed! He’s a quick learner and is very food motivated, already knowing commands like sit, stay, come, shake, and paw, with more training already underway. He loves having a job to do and will thrive with adopters who enjoy continuing his training. When he’s not learning new tricks, Freddie loves snuggling under blankets, playing fetch with his favorite squeaky toys, chewing on antlers, and heading out for long walks or hikes. He’s always happy to tag along on adventures with his people and would love a family that includes him in their daily activities. While he may need a little encouragement getting into the car, once he’s in, he’s ready to enjoy the ride. Freddie is looking for an adult-only home with no cats or young children. While he can coexist with other dogs after slow, careful introductions, he has shown that he prefers being the only dog in the home where he doesn’t have to share his people.
