Edgar is an energetic and playful dog who has never met someone he didn’t like. He likes to bark through fences and is still learning to walk gently on leashes, but he has gotten along well with all of the dogs we have introduced him to. He would probably do well in a home with other excitable, similarly-sized dogs with whom he can play. Edgar is also very people friendly, and would likely do well in any kind of family that can give him the exercise he needs. Edgar is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on his vaccines. His adoption fee goes toward these costs.

Meet Gramma. Who doesn’t love their Gramma? Gramma came to us as a stray and we don’t know her history, but she is an older gal who deserves a loving home for the rest of her years. She can take some time to warm up to new people, but once she knows you she is friendly, and most people laugh off her initial sassiness. She is an independent girl who loves butt scratches and likes to snuggle under her blankets. She is very food motivated and while she tends to get along well with dogs, (including flirting with some of the boys,) she gets a little bit possessive over her food at dinner time. She especially loves hot dogs! If you are looking for a senior dog who is still healthy and active, come meet Gramma! Applications are accepted at www.jellysplace.org.

Meet Goose. When he’s not flying a plane for the U.S. Navy, he can be found in our shelter, playing with other dogs, getting lots of love from our staff, and overall being a very good boy. He does well with other dogs, and while a bit shy with people, he does quickly warm up and become very affectionate with people he trusts. He is loyal, playful, and likes to make his voice heard to our staff and other dogs. While he does occasionally feel the need for speed, he will probably mellow out in a calmer environment. He would do best in a home with someone who can give him all the exercise and love he deserves. If you think Goose is the one for you, submit an application today! Goose is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines. His adoption fee goes toward these costs.
