Zavier is a very sweet, active and playful young dog! He is very puppy-like in manner and would do best in an active home. Zavier enjoys his off leash play with the other energetic pups so could be a great companion for another family dog who wants a playmate. With his extra long legs, and curious care free attitude we suspect he may be able to jump higher than most dogs his size, so making sure his new yard is secure and has a tall enough fence is a must! She was reported to the County and is now available for adoption. Bethany is currently in a foster home, who reports she is potty trained, loves to go for car rides, loves to be with people and is a great cuddle buddy and lap dog! Sally is a sweet, loving 5 year old girl who likes to go for walks, is good with other dogs and is treat motivated. She is adventurous and a little mischievous. She can be shy but she looks for the people she knows to get her out of trouble. She can jump and climb so a yard with a tall fence is important, but apartment living is perfect for her. Sally does great with other dogs and cats but does guard her crate/food. She also wanted to play with the cat, but the cat wanted nothing to do with her. Sally is scared of little kids, but older kids are probably fine. She was anxious when crated, so she will need to be slowly acclimated to using a crate. She is super snuggly, silly and loving. Sally would do best with a family that has some dog experience, who likes to take walks or hikes as well as cuddle on the sofa at night. Having another dog in the home would be a big plus. Kristoff is a cute all white chi mix. He came to us at 1 year old when we pulled him from a kill shelter, along with his litter mates Anna and Elsa. His sisters have been adopted, and he is now ready for his furever home too! Kristoff is shy with new people but he will thrive in the right home. He is playful and likes other dogs, so much so that we use him as the first one to meet new dogs when they get to the shelter. It can take him some time to learn to trust new people and be handled, but he loves to show his love by licking your face! Foster Notes; Kristoff is such a good boy!! It's only been five days and he's learning so much from his foster brother. He knows how to go through the backyard screen door and doggy door listens and walks well on leash and does not pull. He's getting used to being petted but still does not like quick movements or body contact. He doesn't like being alone so will do best in a home with another dog. Kristoff is very curious, playful and energetic, but he'll nap when his dog buddy naps. He sleeps well in crate at night. We're working on house training, putting on leash, building trust and affection. Kristoff is neutered, microchipped and UTD on vaccines. They were doing really good with sit, buttercup could also stay to some degree. They get around pretty well. they cannot go down stairs, but can go up. I do think there could be some vision problems with the smaller one. She is pretty wall eyed and will sometimes seem surprised by sudden movements or something near her face. When they were younger they had a strange gait, but I think it's getting better. Unfortunately they seem to have pretty sensitive tummies. Whomever adopts them should keep this in mind and be careful not to give them too many training treats." These are special girls who deserve an extra-special home will has the patience and time to help them through their physical issues. They are very loving and sweet but need some extra TLC.
