Story
Minnie is an 8yr. old 'Chug'. She is incredibly affectionate, loyal, and happiest in a calm home where she can relax near her people all day. She loves to play, snuggle up on your lap and sleep under the covers for as long as possible. She has been with us for 6 yrs. but our home situation has changed and we need to find her a new loving home. Minnie is VERY food motivated, and treats are the quickest way to win her heart. Once she trusts you, she becomes deeply loving and devoted. Like many Chihuahuas, Minnie does have some fear/anxiety issues. She can be nervous around strangers and reactive toward other dogs, especially larger ones. Slow introductions, patience, and MANY TREATS help tremendously. Because of this, she would do best in a quieter adult home with someone experienced with small anxious dogs.Minnie is healthy, vaccinated, funny, snuggly, and full of personality. We love her deeply and want to find a home where she feels safe, understood, and adored

Story
I rescheduled Billy from a rescue with a companion 14 years ago , sadly she passed away a few months ago. He has had a difficult time since her passing very attached to me. He doesn’t like other dogs even when he was younger, going to the dog park he would always stay by my side. I take him for 3 walks a day feeding am and pm and he usually sleeps the rest of the time. His hearing and eyesight have decreased significantly due to age. He is a good boy I have him bathed once a month for the last 7 years. After he eats he gets a treat and when I leave him he gets several treats for him to find in a bowl and when I let him on the couch in the evening he gets a treat. He uses a harness he barks when strangers come in the house.
