Story
Hi, I’m Tater Tot,My story started a little rough. I came from the PSL hoarding case, but I’ve worked really hard to leave that past behind me. These days, I’m ready for something better… a calm, loving home where I can finally just be a dog.I’ll be honest with you — I can be a little spicy when I first meet new people. The world can feel overwhelming sometimes. If I feel rushed or unsure, I might try to protect myself (yep, I’ve been known to nip if I’m scared). But give me patience, understanding, and a little time… and you’ll see a completely different side of me.Once I trust you, I’m your dog. I bond deeply — just like I did with my last mom. I loved her so much, and when she passed away, my whole world changed again. It took us some time to find each other, but when we did, I was completely devoted. I know I can have that kind of love again. I feel safest with women and would really thrive in a patient, predictable home. I love having a routine — it helps me feel secure and understand my world. I’m also housebroken, which means I already know my good house manners. When I’m comfortable, I’m a total sweetheart. I love sleeping in bed with my person, especially tucked under the blankets where it’s warm and cozy. I also have a very specific favorite toy that I love to play with (I’ll show you which one!). And one of my absolute favorite things in the world? Car rides to the beach.I do have a few boundaries that help me feel safe. I don’t like being picked up too quickly, and I need slow, respectful introductions to new people. Because of this, I’d do best in a home without young children.I’m not the kind of dog who will instantly love everyone — but I will become someone’s whole world. If you’re willing to go slow with me, respect my boundaries, and give me the time I need to trust, I promise there’s a deeply loyal, loving little guy waiting for you.So… what do you say?
