Maui is a 10 week old Chihuahua/Shih Tzu mix. Maui is a special boy, born with a birth defect and only one eye but that definitely does not stop him from being the most happy, playful, friendly soul! He a little love bug, only 4 pounds! He is foster to adopt, meaning he can go home to his adoptive parents now. But the adoption can not be finalized until he is 4 months old, after he is neutered and vaccination series is complete. Adoption applications are NOT online so please request one via email, atxcw7@yahoo.com Adoption fee is $350. Sorry, no small children Must live in Brevard County or within a 45 minute drive. Despite everything he’s been through, Phoenix continues to rise. Today, he is still a very timid and easily scared boy, but he has made incredible progress and is becoming more comfortable around people each day. With patience, consistency, and love, Phoenix’s gentle spirit truly shines. 🏡 Phoenix would do best with: Children over the age of 4 Another dog to help boost his confidence A calm, understanding home willing to let him warm up at his own pace 🐕 UTD on all shots, prevention and is neutered and microchipped. 🐱 Cats: Unknown — he has never been around them.
