Looking for a playful sidekick who can keep you laughing all day and snuggle up with you at night? Meet Chica!
Chica is an adorable 18-month-old Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua mix weighing about 20 pounds. She's a little bundle of energy with a whole lot of love to give! ❤️
💕 Play Hard, Snuggle Harder!
Chica is active, curious, and always ready for some fun. She'd love a family that enjoys walks, playtime, and keeping a clever little dog entertained.
But don't let all that energy fool you! Chica is also incredibly affectionate and loves curling up with her favorite people for some quality cuddle time.
🏡 A Little Structure Goes a Long Way
Chica is crate trained and comfortable relaxing in her kennel when left alone. Like many energetic young dogs, she can get into mischief if left unsupervised outside her crate, so she'll benefit from a consistent routine, plenty of exercise, and appropriate toys.
She's still working on her leash manners and can pull when she's excited. A family willing to continue her training will help her shine!
🐶 Making New Friends
Chica can be nervous and bark around unfamiliar dogs, so slow, thoughtful introductions are important. Once she's had time to get acquainted, she can relax and become more comfortable.
She's also had a friendly encounter with a cat, although she hasn't been fully evaluated for living with feline companions.
Chica enjoys children, but because she's so energetic and enthusiastic during play, a home with older kids would be the best fit.
