Story
Tuna Melt is settling in beautifully and showing everyone what a sweet little companion she is.She’s doing well around other dogs and has adjusted nicely. She’s very people oriented and absolutely a Velcro girl who loves to be close. Being picked up and carried? Yes, please. She’s happiest right by your side. She’s feeling much better after her dental surgery and her appetite is improving. She’s eating softened kibble and especially enjoys it with a little chicken, cheese, or hot dog on top.Tuna Melt loves cozy spots and can often be found curled up in a dog bed. She’s doing great going potty outside with no accidents in the house. While she’ll explore the yard, she has made it very clear that snow is not her thing.Tuna Melt is currently on medical hold awaiting surgery at UC Davis to repair her broken jaw. Her procedure is scheduled in about six weeks, and we expect her to be released for adoption in April once she has fully healed. She’s sweet, loyal, and blossoming more every day. Stay tuned as this little girl continues her journey. We require professional obedience training from a certified trainer for ALL adoptions. Story
Panini is a sweet, happy girl who absolutely lives for her people. When you walk through the door, you’d think you’ve been gone for years — her whole body wiggles with excitement and her joy is completely contagious. She can be a little unsure with new faces at first and may need a minute to warm up, but once she decides you’re a friend, she’s all in. And if you happen to have treats? You’ll win her over even faster. Panini is very food motivated, which makes training and bonding both fun and rewarding.Panini also happens to be a wonderful little adventure buddy. She’s great in the car, good with cats and small dogs, and loves exploring the world around her. She’s currently working on her leash skills and improving every day.Panini does experience occasional seizures, but they are well managed with medication that costs under $20 a month. They are infrequent and don’t slow her down from living a happy, loving life. It's expected that she will also have to have bloodwork drawn twice a year at a cost of about $200. What Panini wants most is a home that will give her a little patience at first and a lifetime of love. In return, she’ll give you loyalty, laughter, and the happiest welcome home you’ve ever experienced. We require professional obedience training from a certified trainer for ALL adoptions.
