Tuna Melt is settling in beautifully and showing everyone what a sweet little companion she is.She’s doing well around other dogs and has adjusted nicely. She’s very people oriented and definitely a Velcro girl who loves to be close. Being picked up and carried? Yes, please. She’s happiest right by your side.She’s feeling much better after her dental surgery and her appetite is improving. She’s eating softened kibble and especially enjoys it with a little chicken, cheese, or hot dog on top.Tuna Melt loves cozy spots and can often be found curled up in a dog bed. She’s doing great going potty outside and has not had accidents in the house. While she’ll explore the yard, she’s made it clear that snow is not her favorite thing.Tuna Melt is scheduled for surgery at UC Davis in about six weeks to repair her broken jaw. Once she has healed from that procedure, she will be available for adoption.She’s sweet, loyal, and blossoming more every day. Stay tuned as this little girl continues her journey. 💕We require professional obedience training from a certified trainer for ALL adoptions.
