Sadie is a 1 year old, very smart and high energy dog. She learns quickly and is food driven, however she is also very protective over food. She will do best in a home with no small children, who often make her anxious, and when she excited she will sometimes nip at heels of the resident older child. She uses a small potty box indoors.Because she has both high energy, seemingly a high prey drive and is smart, she needs both active play every day and dedicated training at least a few minutes a day. She enjoys feeding puzzles and LOVES snuffle mats with treats hidden inside. She will play with any toys she gets happily and loves durable chew toys and shredding paper.She tends to be very intense in her play, which has proven to be very stressful and upsetting for our senior dog and cat, but would be nice with a younger equally energetic friend.
