Leo is a 4-month-old Chihuahua mix who currently weighs 9 lbs., but don’t let his current petite size fool you—he’s still growing and will likely land around 20 lbs. once full grown. He came to us from another local rescue and has been charming the volunteers here since he arrived. Leo is cute, curious, and affectionate—the kind of puppy who wants to be near his people and explore everything the world has to offer. Like all young pups, he’ll need continued training to help him grow into a confident, well-mannered companion. Surrendered by her owner of only a month, Coco has been bounced around from home to home recently, and she’s more than ready to find the stable, secure future she deserves. Though she can be a bit anxious and very shy at first, Coco’s affectionate nature shines through when she feels safe. Coco is looking for her person that she doesn’t have to share with anyone else – she wants to be the only pet and would do best in a home with a single person. With the right person, Coco will bond deeply. Coco is pee pad trained and knows basic commands. This little girl has so much love to give—she just needs the right person to give her the security, patience, and devotion she’s been missing.
