But there is something important her future family needs to understand: **Lilly is scared. Really scared.** New people, unfamiliar places, sudden movement, noise, and changes in her surroundings can overwhelm her. Her first instinct is not aggression—it is to **run, hide, and make herself disappear until she feels safe**. He can be cautious around new people and skittish in unfamiliar situations, so he’ll need an adopter who is willing to give him time to feel comfortable and build confidence.
