Story
💖 MEET PEARL 💖 Sometimes it takes a whole village — and this weekend, that’s exactly what happened. Multiple rescues came together to safely trap two terrified little souls, giving them a second chance at life. 🐾 One of those precious lives is Pearl. This tiny 8.5 lb girl is estimated to be about 10 months old. She’s “missing” one eye, and her other doesn’t function, but that doesn’t stop her from melting hearts the moment she’s held. 💕 When she first came in, Pearl was absolutely terrified — frozen in fear — but with a little patience and a lot of love, she’s already showing her sweet, trusting personality. Pearl will be seeing our vet tomorrow for a full check-up, and she should be ready for a new home as soon as our vet clears her! Pearl will need a very securely and safe home as she is not able to see!

Story
Pet was going to be given to a shelter or abandoned by a young couple moving out of state when I had recently adopted the Pomeranian in the pictures in 2020. The dog has been with me and the Pomeranian and my daughter for about 6 years at this point. I remarried and now have a young infant, live in the city, and do not have space for our growing family and the dogs have been mainly kenneled during the day all day while we are at both at work. Most of the caretaking responsibility for the whole family is on me and the dogs tend to stay bored, or kenneled up, and I do not have the time or energy to give them a more fulfilling life like they deserve. They were previously inside dogs that were only kenneled up at night or when I left the house and love to cuddle and sleep and play fetch. They need more love and attention. Have been up to date with shots until this year due to overwhelm. The Pom is getting rehomed by a family friend and I want Ozo to also have a loving family.
