Story
Sunny and Sprout were abandoned on a county road in Maybank Tx. We didnt want them to be put in a shelter or put down, so we went to pick them up. They were clearly abused and took about a week to get used to people. They are listed together because they are very trauma bonded and they cried, whined and did not eat while they were separated for vet visits. Sunny (the big gold one) has been fixed and they both have their shots. Sprout was to young when we took them to the vet. They are sweet, good with kids, just excitable. They are very protective! Just not living their best life in the city, Sunny jumps fences and Sprout will dig or bite through anything to get to Sunny. We have had to teather them and kennel them at night. It breaks our hearts to have to keep them confined so much but we raise rabbits and can not have them "playing" with livestock. Please spread the word about these sweet dogs, we hate having to "punnish" them for just being good farm dog material in a city home.

Story
We are looking to rehome our Buster boy. He was nothing but a bag of bones when we rescued him at 5 months old and has since grown into a strong 3 year old powerhouse. He has been fiercely loyal to our family, but he needs space to use his working dog skills to their full potential. We don’t know fully his breed, but based on his personality and looks, I’m confident he is in the cur dog family. He is loyal and protective of us, independent and strong willed at times, has a strong prey drive, and could play tug of war for hours. He runs 3+ miles with me and doesn’t skip a beat. I would love to see him go to a home where he could be a ranch dog or a hunting dog, not really being forced to meet “strangers” as often as he does now and given space to work out his energy. We love our guy and will miss him greatly, but we know it’s in his best interest to give him a more suitable home. 🤍

Story
Murphy is a 1 year old mixed breed. He’s very friendly he loves everyone he meets. He’s great with other dogs, cats and loves kids. I think he’d be a great fit for anyone looking for a family dog. I can’t keep him due to my job. He is crate trained, and if adopted will come with his crate, leash, collar, all of his toys, and a few other pet essentials.
