Story
Tom’s life didn’t start out like a cartoon comedy — it started with uncertainty, survival, and learning how to trust. Despite everything he’s been through, Tom is a gentle, loving soul who just wants what every dog deserves: safety, comfort, and someone to call his own. Tom is the quieter half of the duo. He’s observant, thoughtful, and happiest when he’s close to his people. Once he trusts you, he leans in hard — for affection, reassurance, and love. He enjoys soft beds, calm environments, and knowing he’s finally safe. He does well with other dogs, especially his buddy Jerry(who’s already been adopted), but Tom would also thrive as a cherished solo pup soaking up one-on-one attention. He’s learning what it means to be a pet — not just a survivor — and he’s doing amazing. Tom isn’t looking for perfection. He’s looking for patience, kindness, and a family who understands that the best dogs are often the ones who’ve had to overcome the most. If you’re ready to give Tom the ending he’s always deserved, he’s ready to give you his whole heart.

Story
Socks is a sweet, snuggly senior who believes life is best enjoyed with plenty of booty scritches, cozy laps, and gentle kisses for his favorite people. At around 20 pounds, he is the perfect take-me-anywhere companion. He is small enough to scoop up easily, yet adventurous enough to join you for car rides, strolls around town, or even a light hike. Do not let his short little legs fool you. Socks still gets the occasional case of the zoomies and loves showing off playful bursts of energy before settling in for a well-deserved nap on the couch. He is just as happy snoozing the day away as he is heading out for a new adventure. Socks does have microphthalmia, which simply means one of his eyes is smaller than the other. He was likely born that way, it does not bother him at all, and he can still partially see from that eye. It is just a small part of what makes him uniquely special. This lovable little guy is ready to bring warmth, laughter, and endless affection into a lucky family’s life. If you are looking for a loyal companion with a gentle soul and a playful spark, Socks is waiting to meet you. Story
Named after Penelope Featherington from Bridgerton, our Penelope’s story felt destined to be told by Lady Whistledown. Dearest gentle reader, A small lady, now known as Penelope, was discovered abandoned in an apartment, left alone for seven long days. Her nails had grown so long she could scarcely walk, yet her spirit remained intact. Her tail still wagged. Her heart stayed open. She was welcomed into foster care without hesitation and shown the love and safety she had been missing. Penelope explored her new surroundings only briefly before noticing what mattered most. A human. A lap. Her rightful throne. She climbed in. Naturally. Now that she knows comfort, Penelope has formed clear opinions about the finer things in life. Heated blankets are not optional. They are essential. She loves food, approaches every meal with enthusiasm, and remains delightfully curious. Any new sound is enough to make her open her eyes, alert and ready to investigate. She loves people. All people. She greets everyone with happy tail wags and an open heart, always ready for affection. Her loyalty is steady and sincere. Give her love, and she will stay close. At seven years old, this chihuahua mix is ready for a forever home filled with warm laps, soft beds, and the care she has always deserved. And so, dear reader, this author leaves you with a gentle suggestion. Should you be in search of steadfast companionship and a heart that knows devotion, one need only inquire after Miss Penelope. Applications, after all, are the modern courtship.
