Story
Paris came into our care after the devastating Central Texas floods, part of our effort to support overwhelmed shelters and make room for pets displaced by the storms. By welcoming senior animals like Paris into our program, we helped ensure those lost during the flooding had a safe place to land—and now, it’s Paris’s turn to find her forever home. This sweet senior girl is living her best golden life. She moves a little slower these days (though she can handle a few stairs) and her hearing isn’t quite what it used to be. Think: your grandpa insisting he doesn’t need hearing aids but still shouting, “WHAT? SPEAK UP!”—only Paris would never shout. She’ll quietly tune in if you raise your voice just a little and will follow visual cues like a pro. Open the door, and she’ll be right behind you, ready for a slow stroll or a cozy nap in a patch of sunlight. If the stairs ever seem too daunting, Paris doesn’t mind a good “airlift” either—she’s happy to be carried like the queen she is. Paris came from an outdoor shelter, so she’s developed a deep appreciation for the finer things in life: air conditioning, fluffy beds, and especially the heated blankets her tiny chihuahua foster siblings introduced her to. She’s incredibly low maintenance and spends most of her day simply enjoying your presence. She rarely barks—unless she needs help. If she’s stuck on the couch or you’ve (oops) closed her in the crate, she’ll politely let you know with a few well-placed barks: “Excuse me, human. A little assistance, please.” Paris is thunderstorm-proof, drama-free, and deeply affectionate once she knows you’re her person. If you’re looking for a calm, loving companion to share quiet moments and warm spaces, Paris might just be the one who’s been waiting for you!

Story
< Meet PinkyA Loving Senior Pup in Need of a New Home Pinky is a very caring and intelligent 13-year-old dog s been part of my life since 2016. a sweet companion and would do well in a loving homewhether with a man or woman. She’s also good with kids, though she hasn’t been around very young children, so I can’t say for sure how she’d react to toddlers. Pinky absolutely loves treats, bones, and anything a dog can safely enjoy. She’s a snuggler and thrives on affection. She’ll happily curl up with you and keep you company. She also has a strong protective instinct and will let you know when someone is at the door—she makes a great little alarm dog. She’s house-trained, primarily an indoor dog, and current on her rabies vaccination as well as heartworm and flea prevention medication. Unfortunately, due to an upcoming move and financial challenges, I’m no longer able to care for her and am hoping to find her a warm, loving home where she’ll be cherished.

Story
I found these two siblings (at least I think) today on 06/23/25. They have been roaming around my neighborhood for over a week. I mistakenly thought they were my new neighbors, however, quickly discovered that they were possibly dumped. I spoke to all my neighbors and none of them own these dogs. I had them vaccinated today and discovered they are both 5 months old. I would love to keep them together as they are deeply attached to one another. They caught my eye because they were so small and never left each others sides. They have been friendly with my two pugs and are very sweet when meeting new people. We had them checked from microchips and unfortunately none were discovered. I would love for them to find a home where they can stay together.

Story
Milo is a very special and loving dog who loves cuddles and being with human company. He loves going on walks and running in big open fields. Milo is 6 years old and with turn 7 on 09/17/24. I rescued him from being euthanized at the animal shelter a year ago and I have loved every single moment with him since. I’m hoping to find him a home that’ll make him their only lucky charm. He is very reactive towards other dogs due to past traumas with his previous owners. I was told he was returned 3 times before I adopted him. I unfortunately need to rehome Milo because I can no longer meet his needs due to my busy schedule. As much as it hurts me to do so, I hope to do what’s best for Milo and find him his new forever, happy and loving home.
