Story
Lima Bean is the sweetest old buddy any family could ask for. He has a happy attitude and loves his people, and is great with both big and small dogs. He also seems to be fine with cats. He loves a good conversation with his people, as well as chill time on the couch, especially if belly scratches and a warm blanket are included. Bean is an older fella, so he does like things kinda quiet, and he does sleep much of the day. As with most seniors, Bean comes with a few health challenges. He has recently recovered from surgery to remove some masses. He is mostly blind, but can get around quite well once he is familiar with his surroundings. Bean is crate trained, and can avoid accidents if he's taken outside every few hours. Willingness to accept Bean for who he is and be patient with his challenges will reward the right family with loyalty, love, and companionship. Bean has been neutered, is current on vaccinations, has tested negative for heartworm and has been microchipped. Story
Meet Midge, the 9-year-old Chihuahua mix with a heart full of love and a nose keen on exploration. She's a darling who cherishes her cuddle time but is equally content to nap on her own doggy bed. Midge has a gentle soul and enjoys the simple things in life—like snuggling on the couch or sunbathing in the yard. Though she generally gets along well with other dogs, she's a lady who values her personal space and won't hesitate to vocalize when her boundaries are crossed. Midge walks on a leash but be warned: she's a 'stop and smell the roses' (and everything else) kind of gal! While she's crate-trained, Midge prefers the freedom of letting herself out at night for a quick sip of water or an outdoor break. She thrives when she has either a human or a furry companion by her side throughout the day. Midge will thrive in a home where she can be showered with affection and have her unique preferences respected. If you're someone who appreciates the finer things in life, like a loyal companion who will stick by your side (but also values her independence), Midge may just be your perfect match! Midge has been spayed, is current on vaccinations, has tested negative for heartworm and has been microchipped. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an application on our website (uaaf.org). For more information, call/text Kirsty at (435) 671-0985 or email Kirsty.ju@gmail.com.

Story
Meet Rosie, a six-month old, 10-pound Chihuahua mix with so much love to give. Rosie enjoys playing bite-face with her foster dog friends, exploring the back yard, and chomping on yummy treats. She’s an affectionate little dog who would appreciate a home with other canine pals to play with, and human pals who’ll take her for a walk around the block so she can explore her new hood. She also is a good tv or reading time cuddler. Rosie is comfortable around dogs, large and small, but has not been tested around cats or young children. Rosie understands how to use a doggie door, but as a puppy, is still learning the ropes of house training. She’s very treat motivated, and is making huge progress. Her new forever home will be lucky to have such a sweet, curious, playful and loving little girl Rosie is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and has tested negative for heartworm. and ready for her new forever home. If you are interested in adopting Rosie, please complete an adoption application on our website (uaaf.org). For more information email Sandy at svalentine46@gmail.com.

Story
Meet Tiny Tim. Timmy is a sweet adorable scruffy chihuahua terrier mix. He is estimated to be just 17 weeks old and is not quite 5 pounds. He is playful and energetic but is happy to be held like a baby and enjoy some belly rubs. Tim has some vision challenges but is still a pro at zoomies. Tim needs to have a buddy in his new home to help him navigate but once he knows the lay of the land, he’s good to go! In his foster home, he gets along very well with his foster dog brothers and sisters, dogs and cats. Because of his size and eyesight, we are looking for a home with children over 10 years old, please. He is working on his house training, but at his age and with his vision impairment, he’s not perfect yet. With patience and a lot of praise, he should get the hang of things in his new home. This sweet little guy will be a wonderful addition to any family lucky enough to adopt him. Could that be your family? Tiny Tim is neutered, is current on vaccines, and is microchipped. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an application on our website (uaaf.org). For more information, call/text Cathy at 801-598-0771 or email cv-sandy@hotmail.com.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi! My name is Yolanda and I am an almost 9 year old chihuahua. 9 is a great age for a chi - I have plenty of life left in me, AND I'm already a super good girl!  I am leash trained, crate trained and potty trained. I have nice house manners and I along very well with other dogs, too. In fact, I would *really* like a doggy friend in my forever home! I like the companionship. Like many chihuahuas, I am a bit nervous of new people, but I warm up quickly and I'm quite friendly after I verify that you are a nice new friend.  I am also good with kids. Foster mom says kids over 8 would probably be best, but I'd  probably be good with even younger kids, as long as they are nice and mom and dad keep an eye on things.  I have a bit of a sassy streak. I will bark to let you know of danger - that's just part of being a good chihuahua! I am playful and fun, as well as affectionate and sweet. Foster mom says that I will be a great pup for any family. If you think I could be the girl for you, please apply today at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 27, 2024, 12:22 pm
