Hi, I’m Monty 🐾❤️
I’m an 11-month-old chow chow. I’m a sweet, loving boy with a big heart and an even bigger love for my people.
If you’re looking for a loyal companion who just wants to be by your side, I’m your guy. I absolutely love pets, attention, and spending time with the people I trust ❤️
I’m playful and full of personality—I LOVE my toys and my favorite part of the day is my morning zoomies after breakfast (they’re guaranteed to make you smile 😄)
I’m fully potty trained, crate trained, leash trained, and very well-behaved in the home. I’m still getting used to some routines, but I’m learning quickly and doing great
I can be a little distracted on walks (there’s just so much to look at!), and sometimes I stop to take it all in—but with some continued training, I’ll keep improving every day
I get along great with other dogs and have been very friendly with new people I’ve met. I greet everyone with a wagging tail and a happy attitude
While I’m very people-friendly, it’s important to know that Chow Chows are naturally very loyal, independent, and strong-willed. Because of that, I’ll need a home with structure, consistent training, and preferably someone with experience with the breed to help me thrive
I’d do best in a home with a fenced yard where I can explore at my own pace and enjoy my time outside. I also take my time with potty breaks—I’m not a rush kind of guy
I’m okay being left alone for short periods and will patiently wait for you to come back—usually right by the window

Adoption FEE: $600, which includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals.

By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. You will be contacted by an Adoption Coordinator once your application has gone through the approval process. Please ONLY APPLY IF you are ready to commit to adoption.

All Dogs / Puppies / Cats / Kittens are up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, flea/heart worm prevention, and are microchipped prior to adoption. If you are meeting a puppy or kitten that is not ready for adoption there may be a waiting period until they are fully ready to go home.
Adoption fee - Along with the individual animals vetting and daily care costs, the adoption fee helps Mercy Full Project cover additional vet bills, maintain their facility, and cover the cost of their operations in order to rescue more animals in need.
