Story
PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hi, I’m Monty 🐾❤️ I’m an 11-month-old chow chow. I’m a sweet, loving boy with a big heart and an even bigger love for my people. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who just wants to be by your side, I’m your guy. I absolutely love pets, attention, and spending time with the people I trust ❤️ I’m playful and full of personality—I LOVE my toys and my favorite part of the day is my morning zoomies after breakfast (they’re guaranteed to make you smile 😄) I’m fully potty trained, crate trained, leash trained, and very well-behaved in the home. I’m still getting used to some routines, but I’m learning quickly and doing great I can be a little distracted on walks (there’s just so much to look at!), and sometimes I stop to take it all in—but with some continued training, I’ll keep improving every day I get along great with other dogs and have been very friendly with new people I’ve met. I greet everyone with a wagging tail and a happy attitude While I’m very people-friendly, it’s important to know that Chow Chows are naturally very loyal, independent, and strong-willed. Because of that, I’ll need a home with structure, consistent training, and preferably someone with experience with the breed to help me thrive I’d do best in a home with a fenced yard where I can explore at my own pace and enjoy my time outside. I also take my time with potty breaks—I’m not a rush kind of guy I’m okay being left alone for short periods and will patiently wait for you to come back—usually right by the window 💌 A word from my foster: “He’s been such a good boy and hasn’t gotten into anything while I’m gone. He’s loving, friendly, and just wants to be close to his people. He might hate the vacuum… but he sheds, so he’ll have to learn to live with it 😂” If you’re looking for a playful, loyal, loving best friend who will always be by your side… I’m your boy 🐾❤️ Adoption FEE: $600, which includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals. A Mercy Full Project (MFP) Adoption Application MUST BE COMPLETED in order for you to be considered as a potential adopter. By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. Story
Chuy is 10 months old, has a lot of energy, very playful. I would like him to be with a family that has another dog or potentially kids who he can run around with. He loves to play. He’s a sweet boy, I just don’t have the time I wish I did to take care of him.

Story
Fletcher was adopted at riverview animal rescue shelter. He's a low energy dog, and a beautiful kind soul that deserves a good home. He's very intelligent, and knows many commands like wait, sit, lay, shake hands, and speak. He's a cuddle bug, and loves just being close, and receiving hugs, a kind gentle soul. He's come a long way, but still is not considered friendly to other (public) dogs. He currently lives happily with another dog, and a cat, but during walks he will be reactive to unknown dogs. Although this behavior has also gotten better over time. That being said i garentee he'll be the best thing that ever happened to you. He's a lovable teddy bear.

Story
This is Charlie he is 1 yr and half. He's very lovable. Loves attention, cuddles. He is a hyper at some points but what dog isn't. He has lived with children and other dogs and cats since I've owned him. Also has been around my toddler niece he loves her. Not aggressive at all. He loves going for walks or playing outside if possible. I don't want to let him go but my apt complex is forcing me to because he barks a lot. He only does that when there is a knock at the door or he sees another animal walking by in the complex by my window. Normal dog behavior, but they said they have gotten to many reports of it and he is "disturbing" the other residents. I would love to see him go to a loving home with other dogs he can play with or at least with someone that will give him all the attention he could ever want and need.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. &#226&#156&#168 Husk Is Ready for His Glow-Up! &#226&#156&#168   Husk has been with us since January, and this 5-year-old German Shepherd/Chow Chow mix is finally ready to take the next step on his journey — into a foster, or even better, a forever home. He’s neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and has finished his heartworm treatment, so he’s all set for a fresh start.   When Husk first arrived, he was a quiet, unsure guy who preferred keeping to himself. Fast forward to today, and you’d hardly recognize him! He now explores the house with confidence, happily hangs with the other dogs, and even greets us in the kitchen after his bath looking for treats (his favorite thing in the world). Snacks are his love language, and they’ve helped him blossom into a calmer, more affectionate companion.   Husk is dog-friendly and feels more at ease with canine buddies, so another pup in the home would be a huge plus. He’s still a work in progress with potty training and the leash, but with patience, consistency, and kindness, he’s proven he can learn and adapt. Every milestone — from relaxing on the couch to enjoying a good brushing — shows just how far he’s come.   This sweet, soulful boy is truly a diamond in the ruff &#226&#156&#168. With the right person or family to believe in him, Husk will keep shining brighter every day. If you’ve got the heart (and a few extra treats), he could be the most rewarding chapter in your story.   Apply today at 4luckydogs.org to meet Husk!
