Couch potato and love bug! Ziggy is a nice guy. He is polite and friendly with both dogs, big and small people. He enjoys being outside getting some sun or a cool breeze. He appears housebroken and has good indoor manners. He is pretty laid back but does let loose and play a little with the younger dogs. He isn't big into toys, but he does like the knuckle bone to chew on a bit. He loves to eat! He isn't really fond of being brushed but will endure it for a little bit. He sleeps through the night in his kennel and is kennel trained, but he prefers not to be! Unfortunately for us, he is Not cat friendly. That is really the only negative thing. This boy is a family guy! Ziggy seems to be a lover. He would just like to lay his heavy head in your lap and be petted. He does not like to be alone. He is very much a velcro dog, and so far, he likes everyone he meets and seems very good-natured.   He really isn't that big, but his head is surprisingly heavy, and he is very strong.‍ Ziggy will be in our care mid February 2025 ‍Located in Pinellas County, Florida.

Hey all, this is Mazie and this sweet, 7 year old girl, needs a new and loving home! She is 40lbs, up-to-date on all vaccines, up-to-date with flea meds, spayed, leash trained, crate trained and fully house broken. She loves to lay around all day getting pets, looking out windows, going for walks, or going on trips to new places. She is honestly so sweet and low maintenance! I truly know she will thrive in the right environment and someone would be blessed to have her as a companion as I/we did before having a kid. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Chowder – our little bowl of fluff and chaos! Chowder is a 4 months old Chow Chow. She is completely housebroken (she’s more reliable than my WiFi), and ready to chow down on love, attention, and snacks. Don’t let her name fool you—this Chowder’s not thick… she’s actually kinda possum-sized. Seriously, if a possum and a teddy bear had a baby, this would be her. Chowder loves everyone—people, pets, mail carriers, you name it. She’s got classic puppy energy (translation: she zoomies like her life depends on it), but she’s also a total cuddlebug when she’s tired… which is 7 minutes after her last zoomie. She’s perfect for a family who wants a pet that’s equal parts adorable and mildly chaotic. You bring the snacks, and Chowder will bring the love (and probably your shoe… sorry in advance). Chatter does have some puppy tendencies as she is still teething with her baby teeth. She is a little mouthy. She also loves to chew on toys.  Chowder is up to date on her vaccines, she just needs to be spayed which our rescue will provide at one of our preferred veterinary locations.  If you’re looking to adopt a pup who’s small in size but big in personality, soup-er affectionate, and paws-itively charming, Chowder’s your girl!
